  1. Well, of course there's other places to get healthcare. What if you cant afford those other places? I have lots of friends in the US who go to PP for Healthcare because that's what they can afford and they are darn grateful for it.
  2. I don't blame them. Pro-Lifers are a pretty violent bunch.
  3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_Parenthood_2015_undercover_videos_controversy The smear campaign also resulted in a gunman killing 3 people at a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs.
  4. I think everyone does. Al Capone was American and I've toured his tunnels in Moose Jaw.
  5. ....the irony makes my brain hurt.
  6. OK. I'm done with you. The facts have been presented to you every time you screech about it, and you still refuse to even open the links. When someone basically says, "I don't care what the facts say!!! I'm going to stick to what I want to believe!!"......yeah, I'm done.
  7. You can disagree with the facts all you want, Betsy. You can scream it, bold it, enlarge the letters and make them red. It doesn't change the facts.
  8. Well, you answered #1 yourself in the first sentence of #2....... I'm going to go with the facts on this one, Betsy and leave you alone with your.......errr.......ummmm........."common sense" which seems to override facts and data.
  9. Why would it matter? Either you're gay or you're not.
  10. You keep saying this, but no proof. And you have thus far refused to even look at all the links that show this is false.
  11. There's that reading comprehension problem again.... I'm just curious why you hold her up as a paragon of Christian virtue on one area.
  12. My daughter is gay, so......No. But you are holding her up as a paragon of your values. I was just wondering if you knew she was gay. Cus I'm pretty sure you don't agree with that.
  13. You know she's a lesbian, right?
  14. This is a situation that is more common for women than maybe some men realize.
  15. http://www.dailynewsbin.com/opinion/take-that-donald-trump-the-womens-march-makes-the-cover-of-time-magazine/26848/ The Women's March is on the cover of the Feb. 6 edition of Time magazine.
  16. I missed that. Sorry. Ummmm.....Carry on!
  17. The doc I worked for referred our 2 patients for counselling - obviously the one because it was a rape. The other struggled with the decision and suffered for it. She kept apologizing to us and I finally told her, "Sweetie, I'm not here to judge you. I'm just here to help you get through this."
  18. Just for the record, I'm not pro-abortion for any old reason. I'm just pro-choice. Let people make their own decisions in that regard. I have a lot of concern for the psychological effects, which I don't think are often addressed or sometimes considered.
  19. I've only ever had one wisdom tooth pulled. Never experienced an abortion. How did it go for you?
  20. You think there are 100,000+ abortions a day because they are fun and easy.
  21. I wasn't talking globally, but I understand your point. There's a few things I'd rather not fund with our healthcare dollars either, but......
  22. I'd rather help pay for all of them, than deny rape victims, incest victims, women whose men have abandoned the family the availability and cost. But then, I'm Canadian.
  23. You think abortions are done for the "ease" of them?
  24. I really do think those women are rare. For "many" women - abortion is an angonizingly gut-wrenching decision. It is a very emotionally charged issue and the numbers, data and deduction do not reflect that there are real, actual people behind those numbers. For that reason, I believe it is a decision best left to the individual women and their doctors.
  25. OK. It seemed that's what you were proposing. My apologies for misunderstanding. While it's nice when the US takes the lead in helping underdeveloped nations, etc.....I understand your argument here. The US is certainly not obligated to fund anything in any other countries. Maybe stick to that line of argument, instead of the other. I do appreciate your "American perspective" on things and enjoy reading your posts.
