From CTV news " The duo declared that Argentina would open its doors to Canadian pork products for the first time since 2002, collaborate on resettling 3,000 Syrian refugees into Argentina -- including through an Argentine version of Canada's private sponsorship program -- and work through the World Trade Organization to further open borders to goods and services. Should it be legal to discriminate if that's what the client wants
herples replied to Argus's topic in Moral & Ethical Issues
As in the article argus posted, " As for specifying clothing sizes, an employer has to be able to show that it is essential to the nature or context of the work." And in the link I posted, "15 (1) It is not a discriminatory practice if (a) any refusal, exclusion, expulsion, suspension, limitation, specification or preference in relation to any employment is established by an employer to be based on a bona fide occupational requirement;" It is questionable but if the company can prove it is real requirement then it wouldn't be discrimination. One look at this site and it's for promotional, fashion and spoiled rich men. -

Here is how Canadian laws define discrimination. "3 (1) For all purposes of this Act, the prohibited grounds of discrimination are race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability and conviction for an offence for which a pardon has been granted or in respect of which a record suspension has been ordered. " http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/h-6/fulltext.html I do not see how his ad would be discriminatory since it would not fit any of these categories. -
Why are Liberals negotiating extradition treaty with China?

Not trading with China will not change it's behavior. -
It is better to wait till the facts come in from the investigation.

You won't really know till the government actually starts the process. -
Not really evidence for their claims.

The treaty would be ratified when both Canada and China are content with what the treaty says. -
And this is where boomer advice falls apart. It relies on anecdotal evidence from other boomers. Things have changed very much the world is much more especially with the internet and the connectivity with smart phones. Then there is automation and jobs are starting to require degrees. Having a part time job when going through school no longer pays for school even with student loans.

Apples and Oranges. FN were not a unified force and the nations that are involved in colonizing the Americas only had colonizing in mind regardless of the people that lived there. The FN were not strong enough or had the same military knowledge the Europeans did in order to fight them it. It would not matter if the FN had the welcome mat out or not. The Europeans wanted to colonize the Americas and so they did.

Seems like a broad generalization with the exception of millennials moving back in with their parents which is understandable due to rising costs of renting and owning property in some cities.

The thread was closed before I could respond nothing to forget there. Hajj Amin was not head of the Muslim Christian association of course some of his family were members of it, they were against the Balfour declaration and British interference, Hajj Amin was not a member. Not every family member was a anti semite like the Hajj such as Musa al-Huesseini.

Something that I have shown to be false before.

And? That doesn't prove what you said as I have shown many times that the Palestinian Cause wasn't started by one person.

The Palestinian cause was not started by a member of the SS.
