  1. I claimed he didn't exterminate 5,000,000 Jews. He gave his support to the Nazis and contributed to the demise of some people but he wasn't the sole exterminator of the 5,000,000 nor responsible for all 5,000,000 people killed by the Nazis.
  2. I never gave him a pass either.
  3. I never claimed he wasn't a Nazi just that his Nazi past has little to do with the antisemitism in Palestinian nationalism. He was a Nazi collaborator there is no doubt about that.
  4. His Nazi past has very little to do with the anti antisemitism that is part of Palestinian nationalism. The anti antisemitism comes from their view that the Jewish people that are immigrating are taking over their land and are trying to push them out. A sensationalist newspaper head line is hardly evidence. The Mufti saw the Nazis as a group that shared a common view on Jewish people but he wasn't the person who exterminated 5,000,000 Jewish people.

  6. Nazi party and the Mufti shared a similar view towards the jews and that is where it ends. The Mufti I believe came to power after the Nevi Musa Riots and it was the British that put him in power to balance power between his family and another family called Nashashibi. Before WW II he met Heinrich Wolff and yet there is no evidence that the mufti influenced the Nazis. As you say he was anti Semitic from his childhood so it is doubtful the Nazis seriously influenced him in anyway as well.
  7. The Mufti shared similar views about Jews with the Nazis and also collaborated it's a bit of a stretch to claim the Palestinian cause has connections to the Nazis when the cause goes back before Nazism.
