Of it was all about Leafs fans then the Oilers and Flames games would be held at 7. The Oilers game started at 9 but because the Flames game was a national game on TSN they started it at 8 in the East.
The Leafs draw more viewers than the Nucks deal with it.
Then why mention it in the first place?
The Chief didn't need to say anything. If you're going to acknowledge the video exists then make it public. Even to blur images of anyone else that may be facing charges.
I think it's a good play to demand the release of the video. Put the ball back in the Chief's court.
If the video doesn't figure in a criminal proceeding against the mayor then why not release it. Kind of a cop out.
I'm not even close to defending Ford here. His behaviour is clearly contemptible.
That video needs to come out. It's way to easy to call the Chiefs motives into question.
I remember people on this site doubting what the Chief said in regards to a 911 call where Ford allegedly called someone a Bitch.
It goes both ways.
Supporting Ford's politics doesn't mean they defend his train wreck of a personal life.
They've come out today saying he should resign. They were also very critical of his week-long silence when this crack video story broke.
Apparently their radio show is scheduled to happen at the Royal Winter Fair on Sunday. Followed by former Chief of Staff Mark Towhey (who CFRB 1010 has recently brought on as an on air personality) who's filling in for someone.
That'll be an interesting Sunday of Radio.
I'm sure many, me included, would welcome it though.
The fact that you can only be turfed from the Senate if you get charged with a serious crime is pretty ridiculous.
That the video was going to be recovered on a HD a few days ago?
I got the feel from most people on here that the video was long gone but the circumstantial evidence was overwhelming.
