1.6B (up from 250M) on refugees, 2.65B on Climate Change, another 3B allegedly gone already. Almost spent 7.5B already and we're less than two months in. Guaranteed anything resembling a balanced budget will be "left in the dust"

That a far right party was compelled to condemn death threats against their left wing rivals, but a far left party would not condemn death threats against their right wing rivals does say a lot squid. Thanks for pointing that out.

Flipping thru the channels last night. Came upon the Democratic Presidential Debate. The question posed to Hillary and Bernie was "Do you think Donald Trump is a racist?" Kept on flipping thru the channels.

Funny how the left rode Harper for ten years about his photo-ops, as if no politician ever had a photo-op before. Now that the second coming of PM Trudeau has graced us, it's photo-op city but not a peep from the left. BTW the photo-op with the Syrian refugees at the airport was an episode right out of the "Young and the Restless"

Looks like the Liberals have decided to settle the question (of which electoral system to use) within Parliament (and a House of Commons where they enjoy a comfortable and obedient majority), rather than put the question to a national referendum.
