I don't have "religious views". I'm not religious at all. I see religion as a behaviour modifier, sometimes an extreme behaviour modifier, nothing more. I think we'd all agree that if people of a certain race believed that no one could live in the same apartment building with them unless they were the exact same race that would be racist. No one in Canada, that personally I know of, has anything against Jews aside from the petty "joke racism" like Jews (and Scots or Chinese) are cheap, blondes (and Ukrainians & Newfies) are dumb, Irishmen are drunks, etc. Actual anti-Semitism, where people hate Jews for their religion, isn't a thing here in Canada, outside of the muslim community. I only know a handful of people who are Jewish, why would I even care about them in my community any more than any other group? Everything has a bell curve Rue, and if you gauge muslim sentiments towards Jews into 3 categories - "neutral towards Jews just like everyone else" or "support hatred of Jews but will lie about it in public" or "openly hostile towards Jews" I'm 100% certain you'd find that the majority of muslims fall in the last two categories. Just breach the topic of Israel and you'll see the truth come out. Honestly, there's absolutely no reason why a person would abhor Israel and like Pakistan or be neutral towards them outside of being a complete and total bigot.

One day she comes in and says that her boyfriend made her sleep outside the bedroom because she got home late. Not on the couch though, she had to sleep on the floor by the bedroom door. The next week her and her boyfriend say they're going to get a rental and start a grow-op although they already made well over $100K between them, legally, and they were both under 21. I said "fire her now, you can't fix stupid." Then she tells us that her boyfriend just got "promoted" lol in his side job, where he was selling weed, and he was now selling crystal meth, crack, heroine and coke. I said fire her now, she's a f'ing moron. Nope, didn't fire her. Then she said that they were going to do a grow op in their own basement. I said fire her. Nope, just talked her out of it. Then she said "my boyfriend and his buddy are going to buy their own crackhouse and sell stuff out of there there so that his boss doesn't get all the profit". She finally got fired, and one month later they were involved with a shooting and lied to the police about it. They got busted down by their druggy friends and had to pay back a massive amount of money, plus they got arrested. That was 8 years ago, and until this thread started, I had never seen a stupidity one-upmanship contest quite like it.

You can use a word like "assassination" to avoid the reality that Suleimani was a valid military target in an undeclared war if you want, but that does not change the facts at all. Iran is ramping up tensions because they want to run the entire show in the ME (which would be extremely bad for the world, not just the ME), and the US is not backing down. I could just as easily blame Pelosi and stooge CNN for the escalation, because their divisiveness is making the US into a ripe target. They are also pumping out pro-terrorism and pro-Iran propaganda. I could also blame Trudeau for being weak, and not supporting the US. How about: Pelosi's actions killed 63 Canadians! or Trudeau's gutlessness killed 63 Canadians! You see, I don't go around saying stupid things like that, even though there's a shred of truth to them, because I'm not like CNN, Pelosi, or their legions of moronic sheep. I get that there's some truth to "Some of Trump's actions contributed to a scenario where 63 Canadians were killed", but to convert that to "Trump actions kill 63 Canadians", as if that was the main thrust behind what happened, is something that only a total moron would say, or regurgitate.

And then when the MSM trumpets the scary new anti-Semitism statistics they'll put the blame squarely on nasty-ass crackers/conservatives. They'll ignore the fact that calls for genocide against Jews are routine in the certain mosques around the country (like the one where Trudeau recited the shahada), and that our PM refuses to comment on the al quds day hate rallies which happen in broad daylight, inciting fear and hatred of jews and calling for genocide. Rule #1 in Trudeau's Hate Club - Hate Jews and crackers all you want, and then pretend that the resulting new hate crime stats are primarily coming from that quarter.

I don't tell people to love Trump. I get them to stop lying and to stop saying stupid things that they heard on CNN or CBC. If Trump commits actual crimes, like Trudeau did, I won't ask people to look past it or to love him just because his dad was PM and because he has Fidel Castro's good looks.

It seems as though there are a lot of homeless people wandering around, and there vets that need help from the federal government that they aren't getting. But I can see how bringing in more refugees and giving away more money to foreign countries is still our first priority. The people who are already here can freeze/starve I guess.

Things just have to get worse for a while longer here before they get better. Eventually our social spending will just have to stop because the government won't have any money left and our credit will be shot. Killing the energy sector and racking up debt 6 ways from Sunday eventually catches up with you. Eventually Canadians will realize that our quality of life is getting worse and worse.
