If you look at the Michael Brown shooting with the benefit of hindsight, Fox News covered it perfectly and CNN/MSNBC et al completely mischaracterized the whole event and caused an insane amount of damage because of it. The videos were out right from the beginning of M Brown violently robbing the store, but CNN kept letting people come on and talk about "the Gentle Giant", they kept acting like he was just an unarmed kid shot with his arms in the air, they acted like racism somehow played a part, and there was never any good reason for CNN to believe that any part of their narrative was true. People lost their businesses, cops were killed, BLMers tortured a retarded kid, there was country-wide rioting, and for what? Just because a violent idiot got his stupid ass killed for trying to steal a cop's gun and kill him with it. CNN is evil, the Dems are evil, and their sycophant dolt horde are just a bunch of worthless morons.

Now Americans are all freaked about the shooting of a person who just shot a gun, 5 times, at a car with people in it, and then ran from police with the gun in his hand and ignored several orders to stop. The guy tried to hide the fact that he had dropped the gun, and then turned and raised his hands quickly to put his arms up, no doubt the cop thought the gun was still in his hand. Once again, they put the police in a situation where their life was actually threatened and then act like the cops should just be chill. The perspective that's badly needed in that article is the fact that some country/empire somewhere will alway be the biggest and baddest weapons manufacturer on the planet, period. We'd all love it if there was no need for a military, but I think we all know what would happen to a country that was unable to defend itself from other countries that are actually quite evil, and they do exist.

To be honest, there's only so much 'stuff' out there to be bought, and buying more stuff just creates a bigger landfill issue. If you gave your kid $500 to shop at a toy store they'd bring home a bunch of crap that they be throwing out in 10 years, but they'd only use it for a week. The woman was small and completely unarmed, no one has ever implied that she was a danger to anyone in that moment, she was just murdered.
