BLM had years to make their point, they didn't get beaten by police. Should they have gotten beaten by police? FYI this isn't Russia's first war.

It was a bizarrely stupid story and you were staunchly in favour of blatant propaganda. It's just one example of you getting sucked in but there were many. Covid was a joke since the beginning. Trudeau's 'fight' against covid looked a lot like intentionally bringing covid here but you leftists thought he was the bomb. Trump actually fought covid and you leftists act like he was the one trying to get it here. Covd was a much bigger joke than Dr Ford and leftists were the butt of it. It's all over the internet. Memes. Jokes. Foreign journalists excoriating Trudeau. Q - "Why do the Ottawa Police go downtown so early every morning?" A - "To beat the crowds." That kind of thing. Yeah I doubt that the Russians thought about food before they went into Ukraine. Good point Boges. (I hope you note the sarcasm)

OMG, I just can't control my excitement now.... Can you please list the names of some news orgs that you consider to be "generally accepted sources" ??? Is CNN on it? MSNBC? Global? CTV? CBC????? OMG I'm gonna piss myself when I see your list.

Go back and look at your Russian collusion posts, your Dr Ford posts, your blind obedience to covid fantasies that are now false. It's pathetic. I'm not the one who's displaying a shocking ignorance those issues. That'd be you. Canada is the butt of some very accurate jokes about our lack of democracy, our puppet media and the fascist diatribe of our PM, but no one is joking about the fact that our banking system was exposed as a tool of our basic dictator. We no longer "have" money here unless it's tucked into our mattress now, like some crazy conspiracy theorist from the 1970s. Canada's global reputation has been irreparably damaged by our PM. We're a joke. The illusion of democracy and 'innocent until proven guilty' here is paper thin. This is a fascist country with some window dressing. It's not difficult, it just takes some sacrifice, and the Russians are making that sacrifice right now. As hard as things are for Russians right now, they're far safer in their own homes than they would be if Putin hadn't taken this action against Ukraine. Muppets who watch Global/CBC/CTV and call it news don't have the foggiest clue about what history actually is. You don't even understand what this war is about and you spend hours a day watching it on TV and talking about it. Just enjoy your popcorn and wave your arms around like a good little boy when Global tells you to buddy, you're hopeless.

I heard that Russia was willing to talk if Ukraine puts it into their constitution that they'll never join NATO, but just "saying no" right now is probably too little, too late. The Ukrainians enjoyed some success against Russian and this could just be a stalling tactic, and the way that NATO is pouring weapons into Ukraine they could actually be a serious threat to Russia in a few years. You can make a really crazy army out of a country with 44M people. I don't blame Putin if he wants more.

So weird that the things I post are always true or soon to be proven true and all of your posts just stay in the realm of coulda, shoulda woulda or they're just proven to be stupid lies. Did you look up "Bay of Pigs" and "Cuban Missile Crisis" yet? ? Canada? I dunno, I'm on the fence about that country right now. They have to hold out and take a bit more punishment, right? Because they're the biggest consumer that the American military industrial complex has right now. America needs them.

It's sad to see how people can turn on the news and see the war propaganda and believe every last bit of it. It's like when a married couple fights and you just get to hear one side of the argument. If you've only heard her side, or his side, you have no clue what's really going on. Somewhere between what Russia says and what Ukraine says lies the truth. The one thing that I know for sure is that allowing NATO to the western border of Russia would be like death for it's citizens. Having the combined armies of Germany, the US, France, the UK, etc, etc and all of the cruise missiles and stealth fighters etc right there 24/7 would be no way to live. Next time there's a pro-Ukraine rally here I'm gonna have to go talk to some folks.

Canada's military, how impressive it really is.
WestCanMan replied to Army Guy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
NDP at election time: "The top priority for our military is to be more trans-friendly, and we also need to lower the requirements for combat trades so that women can qualify." NDP at wartime: "We shoulda got a bunch more of those flying shooty things and the boomy ones with tracks that crush cars. What were you thinking Mr PM?" -

George Soros did ok too, back when all the other Jews in Germany were being rounded up. What's your point? Some of us never expected that ignorance and moral bankruptcy would be prerequisites for being happy in this country. -
We just heard your worthless opinion about it, as is the case with everything else. If you ever cite anything half of us will faint, but your rebuttal read a lot like the CTV propaganda here: https://www.ctvnews.ca/health/coronavirus/what-is-an-adverse-event-inside-the-recently-released-report-on-pfizer-s-covid-19-vaccine-1.5812411 This ^ is what CTV calls 'reporting'. They donate just a few more words to the serious topic of heart issues in the healthiest people of all: So what did we learn about myocarditis and pericarditis from that? Other articles that I've seen say that only 81% of those people fully recover. That leaves a lot of our healthiest people with serious & permanent(?) health issues. No mention of that from CTV. They just blew by that as if it's no big deal. Why should we care if 85 yr olds die but we don't care about young people living indefinitely with serious health conditions?

Everybody else's job is easy lol. I coached my son's baseball team for a few years and that's just 12 kids doing something that they like for 90 minutes. Still, it's not easy. It can wear you down quite a bit. I don't really envy people who teach kids things that they don't necessarily like for 6.5 hrs, starting on a Monday morning.

Jussie's still proclaiming his innocence lol. He said it again after his sentencing. It's bizarre that he thinks the attack randomly occurred after he rehearsed it, with the people he rehearsed it with. For some strange reason BLM, Jessie Jackson, Samuel L Jackson and others wrote letters asking for reduced sentencing. Uhhhhhh, why? He was trying to incite racial hatred and violence. Just how short of a sentence did they want him to get? Do they feel like inciting violence is no big deal?

I don't feel sorry for the nurses. When I was a young man there were volunteers in every hospital in Canada and it was the nurses' union that said "Those jobs need to be done by union people". As a result young people don't get the same chance to volunteer/learn on the job and taxpayers are shelling out lots of dollars for a lot of very simple jobs. I had a roommate who waitressed in the evenings that started working as a janitor in the hospital during the days, she always knew that she was getting called in every second Friday because the woman who had the full-time gig got two paid sick days a month and she called in on those Fridays like clockwork. Basically two people were getting paid to do that work on Friday for a job that could have mostly been done by vols, and one of them had full benefits. It's way too much. Then at negotiating time the nurses compare themselves to Drs. Oh please: nurses, teachers and bouncers don't really compare to Drs.

Like Dr Peterson says, the wealthier you are the less it matters. People who were just barely able to afford an old beater to begin with are definitely back to riding the bus, which makes it harder/less safe for them to have certain jobs, and the people like Prince William, who pontificate to us about our carbon footprints, will still be able to afford to fly their private jets across country to attend polo matches even if the price of gas quadruples. I heard that their horses don't fart though, so his trips aren't a total carbon footprint nightmare.

I grew up in fear of war with Russia and her allies, then I served in the cold war during the late '80s. I heard many prep talks abut what we were gonna do when Ivan and Igor came over the hill, I spent my early adult life saying things like "Kill a commie for mommy" and "Kill 'em all and let God sort them out", so being "on Russia's side" doesn't come easy for me. BUT, I respect the right of every man on earth to defend their country whether they live in Israel, Palestine, Peru or anywhere else, and the Russians had no choice here. Leftist dummies don't understand that NATO soldiers could go to Ukraine and endure the stress of being on that line for a couple years at a time, then never look back, but for Russian civilians the stress would start when they're about 5 years old, seeing scary things on the nightly news, and never go away. Nukes from Ukraine's 2,000 km border with Russia would be aimed at Moscow with less than 12 minute travel time. When I was in the military taking my nuclear, biological chemical defence training they told us that if we stayed in the military until we retired, and did all of our required NBCD training, we'd still have less of it than German students get by grade 8. Growing up along a military fault line is no joke. People who expect Russians to live that life can go to fucking hell, 100%. I don't care what happens to the Ukrainians, they were stupid enough to bring this on themselves.

Exactly. So we don't want to let anyone like Ukraine in to drag us into an unnecessary war. So if you were Putin would you rather have nukes along your whole western border or just a small part of it? The US estimates "with low confidence" that between 2-4K Russian soldiers have been killed. I'm not gonna mansplain that to ya. OMG. Are you kidding right now? After all this time and all that we know about war and propaganda are you really telling me that you somehow know that Ukrainians are rallying around Zelensky right now? Is it unanimous Boges? ? For your own sake don't answer that, it was a rhetorical question. FYI there's a huge difference between what people wish for and what they're willing to die for. Are Ukrainians willing to die just to get NATO to Russia's western border? What % do ya figger? Buddy, I didn't ask if we were likely to do it. I asked if you think that America would allow Canada to invite Chinese troops to the 49th parallel. I don't need to hear your answer, you just need to think about it, and you obviously haven't yet. That's weird. Is your head just there to hold your hat? Google: "What's the difference between the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis" ? Your propaganda filter is set to "bask in the glory of CTV's divine gospel". Good for them. They're normal. Do you even have a clue what happens in war? People mistakenly kill their own soldiers so often that they have a name for it: friendly fire. In a war zone with millions of people in it shit happens, and you don't know how or why, neither do I. There are even some people on the ground who will be saying "wtf" after something happens in their vicinity. It's chaotic and people have their heads down sometimes. For all we know Ukrainians killed those three people themselves just to blame Russia for it. If you don't think that those types of things happen then this is not a topic for you to discuss. https://www.srpska-mreza.com/bookstore/peacekeeper/peacekeeper.html There ya go.

I said "not everyone in NATO is stupid". Obviously we're in NATO, and we elected Trudeau, so there's no shortage of stupidity in NATO. US, Biden, DOH! Not dumb at all. Those places combined are worth 1/10th of what Ukraine is worth and when they joined Russia still wasn't very strong yet. Over 100,000 troops and just a few casualties. That's pretty good. Those people are dead because Zelensky is an idiot. We wouldn't, because we'd be invaded by the US if we did. No question. What makes you think Kennedy failed? He doesn't have to flatten anyone. The resolve of Ukrainians isn't as strong as they're saying on CNN. That's what you call it, but by the laws of war they're "unlawful combatants", and the Russians can shoot back at them.
