  1. Awww boohoo eyeball. I'm not the one who was sucked in by Dr Ford, H2H transmission, wet markets, infallible vaccines, Russian collusion, Ukrainian collusion, the Bidens are innocent, no biolabs in Ukraine, Rayshard, Floyd, Brionna, mostly peaceful protests, Jussie Smollett, a mass gravesite from indigenous child murders, the scandal-free PM, "I don't see no hate mongerin' from the PM", "beating protesters who are probably racists isn't news" and the list goes on and on. Every thread here is chock full of old posts of yours that didn't age well. I can't believe that you didn't ditch your account/username here and rebrand yourself as "CBC Newz Is God" or something.
  2. https://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/072915/how-petrodollars-affect-us-dollar.asp v https://finance.yahoo.com/news/saudi-arabia-considers-ditching-dollar-170000924.html While the US is busy celebrating the demise of the Russian stock exchange and all of the dire consequences that their sanctions are having on Russia, a more permanent blow may be struck against the US by China. Saudi Arabia is busy negotiating with China now and they're not answering calls from Joe Biden. Once China busts free from the petro dollar you'll never get the toothpaste back in the tube. This seems like a huge turning point in world history and we have one bad election to blame for it.
  3. Absolutely NATO is an aggressive threat. Anyone who edges up beside of you with weapons is a threat. Have you not noticed how many countries the US has bombed lately? Places where they've interfered in elections? Appointed prosecutors? Toppled regimes? The people of Canada will ignore hate mongering from their PM, and will look away while police beat up peaceful protesters and freeze the bank accounts of Canadians who did nothing. We're not gonna stop Hillary Clinton from doing anything. CTV and CNN will say Hillary needed to do it, she never lied about anything, she just acted on the intel that she had. This may not be your first rodeo but you still can't tell a horse from a bull. Zelensky. Threatening to bring in NATO was the first shot. Zelensky even admitted yesterday that he has always known that joining NATO was a bridge too far but he kept yakking, even with Russian troops surrounding his country. All it takes is a signature on the dotted line and Russia would be unable to have that buffer zone that they need. Because they chose a leader who was on the wrong path. That's what happens. German people suffered when they elected Hitler. Canadians are suffering from electing Trudeau. Americans are suffering from electing Biden (now Saudi - China). We're already paying, but we're gonna be paying for a long time to come. The suffering of Ukrainians was caused by something that you don't understand. Regardless of how badly the Russians need a regime change, having NATO at their border was not an option for the people of Russia. Russia spans 11 time zones and shares a border with 11 or 12 countries, their geopolitical situation is nothing like ours. America is insulated from pressure by the earth's two largest oceans. So is Canada. Russia is between China and NATO. Yes, you have a myopic world view.
  4. Still waiting on you to have the balls to name a media source that you pay attention to.
  5. Not at all, I just don't get sucked in by CNN and CTV over and over again like a leftist.
  6. Funny how intelligent, thought-provoking people like Dr Peterson, Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson et al face cancel culture daily but a high school dropout like Greta Thunberg is accepted as a climatologist and race relations expert by the MSM.
  7. It's your fault that you have to withdraw from every debate we have when you finally realize that you're in a completely untenable position and words like hooey aren't getting you anywhere. Awwww, if only you could just prove that once. DANG! Here's a suggestion: maybe try some actual facts with legitimate cites for once instead of unsubstantiated accusations? It works for me. In fact, earlier today a poster on this very site referred to me as "the smartest guy on the internet". I bookmarked it for daily reference:
  8. Wrong. I was in the military for 3 years, took NBCD training twice in that time. I've never had any NBCD training before or since. If I stayed in the military for my whole career I would get less nuclear, biological and chemical defence training than German school children received (by grade 8 or 8 yrs old, I don't remember). That's no life at all. If Putin doesn't push back right now the Russian people have a knife at their throat for the foreseeable future. Zelensky was warned. Zelensky chose to keep pushing towards NATO. Zelensky started a war. That's how I see it. You see this as "Putin is a dictator so the Russian people should suffer every dire consequence imaginable." Guess what buttercup? 99% of the governing bodies of every country in the history of the world were basic dictatorships. It's "normal", just like slavery was until Britain and the US became the world's dominant powers. Why should the Russian people suffer from our threats at the same time as they suffer their dictatorship? FWIW our democracy was much better than a basic dictatorship back when we had freedom of speech and freedom to gather and the government couldn't just randomly call people "racists and misogynists", freeze their bank accounts and send them to jail on minor charges without bail. That's neither here nor there though. The fact is that you only see the world from your myopic POV and you don't see the suffering of other people as meaningful.
  9. ? Who determined that it's 100% and 100%? Was it you [thanks] or can you please show us the studies and peer-reviewed papers that determined this including the data they collected/analysed? You haven't made a salient point here in weeks so you figured that your best chance to actually land something was to try to pin me down to the actual percentage of bullshit on CTV/CBC/CNN/Global within 5% lol. I was hoping that you were joking but you really meant it. That's some seriously weak shit bro.
  10. Dude you literally just quoted a news source's figures verbatim as if it was gospel truth. The Russian/Ukrainian/American military and press corps' primary job when reporting from the front lines is to keep up morale within the army and to build/maintain consensus among the citizens. In most instances we'd want our media to tell the truth, for instance regarding Trump & Trudeau's scandals, but i the instance of a war I think we all expect a certain level of propaganda. In every war there's gonna be a 'big lie'. In the Iraq war it was "They have WMDs." So far in this war it's "We don't have WMDs." Hopefully that's our biggest one, but I'm expecting to hear about "an errant Russian cruise mille landing in Poland" any day now. Congress has a war boner, and we keep hearing about how thick the Russians' glasses are. "They keep bumping into things... This will be easy... Home by Christmas..."
  11. Blah, blah, blah. Another leftist who "has legitimate sources but won't name them". Why is that such a common refrain, EF? Why is it that you don't want to admit that you sometimes watch CTV and you feel like it's "the news"? Or CNN? CBC? Global? Why don't you come out and say that you don't think that 'C__' is nothing more than propaganda? Or Global? WashPo? The Star? NYT? How is it that you know you'll be a laughing stock the second you say you believe any of that shit, but yet you still believe in your heart of hearts that they're legitimate? And you still regurgitate their screed? C'mon EF, take the puck to the net, don't just be a perimeter player. Support a MSM outlet. Pick a side. Are you a man or a mouse?
  12. This war may be a big win for the western world if China doesn't do something soon to prove that they're really on Russia's side in this. Right now China is seen as being quite adversarial to the west, and there's all kinds of talk about bringing critical industries back to NA, or at least anywhere but China. If this war becomes a wedge between Russia and China then both countries are basically without friends, unless you count places like Iran and NoKo.
  13. Can you imagine living your life as a leftist, and trying to keep pretending that conservatives are always just telling the truth about the future, but that everything that they say is a lie now? "Yeah, conservatives have been saying that for a while now, but it wasn't true when they first said it. It only became true when CNN said it. Like the bio-labs for example. Those weren't there at the beginning of the war, they were just built after the Russians attacked or something. Really quickly."
  14. 1) The first casualty of war is truth 2) Approximately 5% of what we hear/what Russian citizens hear is true, 95% of it is false, and even the people on the ground don't know as much about what's happening as CNN/CTV claim to know. Just remember that 25-30 bio-research labs is a lot more than 'an emphatic zero'. Maybe 25 is really 14 with 11 bio-labs that actually no longer have any military capacity at all. 3) We don't actually know what hard targets were hit, and which of those were destroyed, temporarily offline, out of service for weeks or months, etc. 4) We don't know how many soldiers were actually killed 5) We don't know the effect that those strikes had on Ukraine - maybe they hit some targets that the Ukrainians thought that the Russians didn't know about I really hope Zelenski gets taken out because it really simplifies things, but I'm guessing that he'll be stateside for the rest of the war now. He may be living in exile already for all we know. He's certainly not going back to Kyiv anytime soon.
  15. Why are you even here if you can't think for yourself dude? Do you think this is a test of your ability to regurgitate propaganda and block out information? Why don't you try to think of some reasons why Russia doesn't want NATO there? What are they? Expand your brain.
  16. I don't know. For sure there would have been some people who were worried it would trigger war. I don't care. The point is that Americans felt like the threat of war was justifiable because they didn't want Russian missiles there. WTF are you talking about? Find some Americans who say "Kennedy was wrong to block Cuba, threaten WWIII, and depth-charge a Russian sub!" Those people can say "Putin has no right to invade Ukraine" without looking like hypocrites. Everyone else who disses Putin for this choice is just a weasel. I spent my whole life appreciative of the fact that Kennedy did what he did. (It worked out. If it didn't I never would have been born though, maybe no one would). It would be absolute hypocrisy for me to adopt the position that Putin has no right to attack Ukraine right now. He gave Ukraine a chance to avoid war, just like Kennedy gave Krushchev.
  17. Cuba wanted to host some Russian nuclear missile silos. 1) It's pretty weak to invite a war if your strategy is going to be to get civilians to shoot at Russian soldiers from your house. 2) If that's your strategy, fine, just do so knowing that non-uniformed people who shoot at soldiers in a war zone are illegal combatants and don't get any protections from the Geneva conventions, and buildings that are fired from can be fired upon. IE, don't complain when houses, hospitals and high-rise buildings get bombed. Those aren't civilians getting fired upon, they're illegal combatants. If you're not one of the people who's pissing and moaning about buildings and hospitals being destroyed, that's fine. The post that you're referring to was Myata's post saying: All of the things in Myata's quote are perfectly normal in war. If I'm in a NATO hospital and I shoot a rocket at a tank, it's lawful for them to fire back into the hospital to kill me. It's perfectly normal in a war zone. I'd actually be the war criminal in that scenario. If the tank didn't kill me, I'd go to jail, just like the Nazis did (if there were any that weren't executed). Zelenski made his civilians into illegal combatants = Zelenski unleashed the Russian military on his citizens.
  18. Name a major news story that CNN didn't lie or twist the narrative of Boges...
  19. Russia is there because Zelenski threatened them with NATO. FACT. Zelenski told his civilians to shoot at Russians. FACT. Everyone on earth shoots back at people who shoot at them, and it's not illegal. FACT. Those are all undeniable facts. You can't ignore the most basic facts of the matter just to create a convenient narrative.
  20. The fact that you're not smart enough to understand this analogy doesn't shock me at all, it's par for the course. No country wants to allow their enemies to mass on their border, period. Full stop. Everyone on earth with an IQ over 50 understands that point implicitly. The fact that you don't understand it is telling. The US didn't allow Russia to have ICBMs in Cuba. Russia doesn't want to allow hypersonic missile and cruise missiles loaded with nukes in Ukraine. This is their Cuban missile crisis. You have no idea how millions of people in Baltimore, Chicago, St Louis etc live. There aren't many people in Russia that are worse off than that. CNN and MSNBC are no better than Pravda and TASS. One minute the Ukrainians are winning but at the same time it's somehow a genocide, then they give out body counts that say 10,000 Russian troops are dead and only 514 Ukrainians, there are no US biolabs in Ukraine "but there are some labs where the US is 'studying' bioweapons that terrorists would love to get their hands on"..... The MSM in the US is a bunch of Nazi level propagandists. freedom of speech is under attack year by year, cancel cultists are after Rogan and Carlson 24/7, and people who did nothing at the capitol were imprisoned for months without a trial. Pelosi had every opportunity to prevent that from happening, Trump authorized the deployment of the National Guard in advance, Pelosi just let the shitshow happen then threw everyone in jail and used 20,000 National Guardsmen as a prop. The comparison has nothing to do with what kind of music people listen to or how colourful their clothing is or whether or not we have similar views on abortion, religion and gay rights. It's simply about whether or not the US would allow Canada to bring America's enemies right to their border. We could be almost identical in every way, it doesn't matter. If we make a serious threat to bring their enemies here they will throttle us, end of story. Pelosi, Trump, McAuley Caulkin, and everyone else in the US will say "kick Cnada's ass!"
  21. No, it means that Zelenski can invite as many NATO bullies to his yard as he wants and run his mouth, like he is now.
  22. CBC, CTV, Global... same shit different pile. They all ran covid disinformation and fear mongering 24/7 for the last 2 years. Now the topic is toxic for them so they dropped it like a hot potato.
  23. 85% of the MSM here propagates the same false narratives. Don't pretend that's not a serious issue. Then name a major topic that they didn't lie about or propagate false narratives.
  24. OMG man, is that the limit of your thinking? Everything is the same? Do you think that "It would make no difference to the US if China, Iran, Russia and NoKo had their armies massed on the US border with Canada" because their missiles can reach the US anyways? Do you think that hypersonic missiles loaded with nuclear warheads all over Ukraine would massively escalate the threat to Russia, or would Puting just say "It's no big deal. There are missile silos in Idaho anyways."
  25. There's no chance at all. That's not the point. The point is that if we did what Ukraine is doing the US would take the name Canada off of the map and there would be almost no debate about it. Americans would be 100% in favour of it.
