I cast my vote in the manner that best serves my country. Whether Scheer wins or Bernier I'd be ok with that, but Bernier already had his chance to lead a party and he failed. Now he's dumb/petulant enough to split the conservative vote and I don't see how that's ok with voters. The only thing that really stands out about the upcoming election is that if Trudeau wins we are going to keep digging ourselves deeper into this hole, and we're already well past the point where we can expect a recovery within the next 20 years. This country might be permanently screwed if he gets in again. Would you honestly rather screw the country than do the sensible thing, just based on a principle that only you really believe in? IMO your vote should be used to help move the country in the right direction when you get the chance, not as a protest vote. Voting to keep the worst one out is the smart thing to do sometimes.

If you're in support of splitting the conservative vote I guess I can't sway you. But, a week ago the path to removing Trudeau from office was obvious, and now it's getting more and more unlikely by the day. If no one was supporting Bernie's folly then it would fizzle out. Now we're playing into Trudeau's hand.

It has nothing to do with loyalty, but everything to do with responsibility. And she wasn't just a d-cup, she was previously a biker. In my opinion, Trudeau's ONLY election strategy consists of "I'm cute and cuddly, they're racists!" His only chance to win an election is to keep on repeating that. He gets absolutely massacred on policy and the abysmal failures of his first term in a debate vs Scheer. A debate vs Bernier will be all about racism and it's hard to defend yourself from those kinds of accusations in public. Bernier's favourite talking point is a political minefield.

And we all know what NDAs are worth now lol. Honestly the Conservatives can't even attack Bernier in the election because they welcomed him back and almost made him their leader last time round. Bernier will no doubt continue to run the PC into the ground all day and he's considered to have insider knowledge, so it has a lot of credibility with voters (helping Trudeau, again). On the other hand, the Libs and NDP can have a field day raking Bernier's reputation over the coals, and Trudeau gets to lock down that SJW vote, which he would have had a harder time doing if it was just Trudeau vs Scheer. Up until Bernier started his party I was pretty certain that Trudeau had no chance. Now he's the big odds-on favourite to win. Bernier is nothing but a back-stabber and he's either the dumbest man on earth or he secretly supports Trudeau.

Is supply chain management a big enough issue that it's worth splitting the conservative vote, and gving Trudeau another majority government? Who the hell is Maxime Bernier working for, the Saudis? If Trudeau gets in again this country is ROYALLY SCREWED! At every chance we get we need to tell Maxime Bernier and his followers to do the right thing - stick with the Conservative party for the 2019 election. Otherwise you're basically casting a vote for Trudeau.

Trudeau discussed economic policy before the last election. He promised a $30 Billion dollar deficit and he managed to hit that target in only 7 minutes. He's a drastic overachiever in some respects.

The article doesn't mention what happened with her blackberries, iphones and ipads either. Hannity often throws "smashed cel phones with a hammer" in with his rant about post-subpoena evidence destruction, but from what I've read the only things that she was known to have smashed were smashed before the subpoena. I think that she may have said that she lost some devices, or removed the sim cards from them, after they were subpoenaed but I'm not sure.

Maybe Scheer isn’t the exact leader you want - it’s impossible for any candidate to share all of the exact same opinions you do - but don’t you think he’s 1,000 times better than the Justinian plague? Could he possibly give away as much money as Trudeau? Embarass us on the world stage like Trudeau? Start a trade war with the US? Give tens of millions to terrorists? Denigrate Canadians and our culture as often? Do you think he would kill our energy sector and drive away $100B in investment? Tax Canadian oil and not foreign oil? She says that she requested them to be deleted before the subpoena, but we all know that Hillary Clinton's word is not actually proof of anything because of all the lies that she told throughout this entire story. The emails were there on the server when the FBI sent an subpoena instructing her to preserve her them under penalty of law. Her employee also received an email saying that the FBI ordered them to save the emails, and Hillary was responsible for providing them at that point. When the employeee were aware of that they deleted the emails AND used BleachBit on them, which she never even asked them to do according to their own garbage story. Hillary IS responsible for those emails, and they were intentionally deleted after everyone knew about the subpoena. End of story. There are thousands of people in jail for doing far less than Hillary is known to have gotten away with. It's ridiculous for the FBI to allow a precedent to be set where their subpoenas become utterly meaningless. If I received a subpoena from the FBI right now and then my cousin destroyed all the evidence they asked for a week from now do you think that I'd get away with it? Well, I should, because that right there is the new definition of how to legally destroy subpoenaed evidence.

That's exactly what I say about people who sympathize with our supportive policies towards dictatorships. I think we both agree on what we want our next leader to be like here, but we disagree on what it will take to defeat Trudeau in an election. Trudeau would like nothing more than to run against a “scary Trump clone” because his fear mongering won’t work against smiling Andrew Scheer. Trudeau will have to stick to policy to beat Scheer and even the CBC can’t defend Trudeau’s idiotic domestic policies, his foreign affairs fiascos, his disdain for our culture, the massive debt load he just piled on, the destruction of our energy sector, his penchant for driving away trade and investment, and his ethics breeches. If Trudeau ran against Bernier this is what it would look like: Bernier: “Why are you so intent on killing the enrgy sector?” Trudeau: “Why are you such a racist?” etc, etc, etc Bernier could run circles around Trudeau in a debate, then the CBC would lead their newscasts with “Trudeau faces down Bernier over his racist, dictatorial policies” and that’s all that most people would see, because not a lot of people actually watch the debates. I would rather win with Scheer at the helm than lose a close election with Bernier. If we get stuck with another Trudeau government we are royally screwed. Almost nobody admits to being a Trudeau fanboy anymore but they’re still out there, just below the surface, like maggots in a rotting fish.

People who talk about how bad Trump’s wall is are some of the dumbest people on earth: they say they don’t need a wall because it is too expensive and they think that it’s cheaper to just hire more people to patrol the border. That saves money over the course if a year or two, but over the course of ten, twenty or fifty years the savings of a wall are massive. The wall is also more effective. Those same people who talk about hiring more ICE agents also want to abolish ICE lol.

But I also think that given all the FBI corruption that was involved in the process leading up to their arrests most people would get out of those charges. "Trump's policy of separating immigrant children from their parents" is another perfect example of an outright lie that they told on CNN and even the CBC.
