I was saying that to ME there are no other issues I care about.
-
Yes and as a new stock Canadian I'm fine with it and support it.
-
I said that there are times for deficits. I'm all for GST cuts. It proportionally affects the poor the most.

Right. But what's the point you are trying to make?
-
I said "very few". It was not globally accepted that that would have panned out.

Exactly. And I cannot think any other government could cut the deficit that quickly. Spending money is easy, getting out of that hole is not. Now is not the time to be plunging us back down into a deficit.

It's because of international law that this happens.

Very few economists even saw it coming.

Are you saying the LPC is outta money?

. All part of an evolution.

One step at a time...plus, Canada is hardly trailblazing the whole terrorists getting their citizenship revoked. Rapists and such don't cause widespread death. Toronto 18 would have killed as many people as those who died on 9/11

If new circumstances arrive then I'm sure the law will be changed.

Low taxes and more money in my pocket.

Do you know for sure it wasn't spent on infrastructure? Regardless, the federal budget is 290 billion $.

As I've said before, I have voted for the Liberals and the NDP (once). In this election, I follow the Conservative party's philosophy. I'm not a blind Conservative supporter, but please don't run deficits and please stop being a snake oil salesman (not you, but the respective party's directions)
-
I had to stop reading once you talked about deficits. All party leaders wanted to spend big in 2008 to get us out of the recession. Tell me any other party who would have cut the deficit this quickly.

I'm watching this thing on Lynton Crosby. He's really not a one trick pony. Saying that he focuses on wedge issues and that his political strategy is divisive is incorrect.
-
The ends justifies the means. That's how much I hate the Liberal and NDP platform. (this time around) And please, cut the crap about the other parties wrt not using divisive strategies.
-
To be fair, I don't know what will happen. Certainly a Conservative minority will be very interesting!
-
I never said it was practical. I was just saying that I would prefer a PM is an old stock Canadian

I'm saying that when he was asked if he would renounce his French citizenship, he declined. If he's so Canadian that he wants to lead Canada, he should renounce his French citizenship. I'm actually very much for how the US handles this. If you're not born in the US, you can't be President. I agree with this wholeheartedly.

Hopefully Harper prorogues parliament
-
My belief is that the "master of black arts politics" should do whatever he can to help the Conservatives win. It's not like the other parties didn't have a chance to pay his retainer.

A bit like Mulcair.........hmm.
