Most German soldiers who were fighting for Nazi Germany were not nazis!!!!!!!???? Where on earth did you come up with something like that? Even most of non-army population of Germany in the 30's were nazis because nazis were ELECTED by German people to power, they didn't grap power by military coup or it wasn't an unelected or forceful take over. Never mind the army which was almost everyday saluting their leader, Hitler. Don't bring in Canada into here as Canadians soldiers never raped anyone in any war.

Read my earlier post about the debate between me and my Russian friend about Russian soldiers raping defenseless German women after fall of Berlin. She said Germans also raped many Russian women when they had captured Russia!!!, Well, I said they were Nazis and it was expected of them however, Russia was fighting the nazis and they were held to a different standard but they proven that they are same by their actions.............. Israel is held to a different standard than Arabs because they are thought (or they claim) to be a democracy whereas everyone is aware of violent past and present of Arabs. So as why Israel is held to a different standard unless you admit and acknowledge that Israelis are as bad as Arabs, that is Violent, hateful, invaders, destroyers............

Well made statement. This is very factual and great statement. Very true. I have noticed that too that most who lack something in their own lives (like some decent looks, a decent body, good jobs, happy life, a even in a few cases those who may be challenged in some way) then they try to pick on others who may be regarded as weak or defenseless or reserved, especially those who pick on gays or whoever may appear gayish t them. Damn losers in their own lives try to compensate it by making life miserable for others!!!.

I agree that Israel would not have existed if it wasn't for American support of both huge economic and military nature past 70 years but the fact remains that it was Israeli soldiers who won the war and crushed the combined Egyption, Jordanian and Syrian Army in 6 days not Americans even though it was American hardware which help them to win the wars.

Battle the armed resistance and avoid civilian casualties by any means necessary. When Israelis shoot randoml;y into civilians or drop bombs over populated areas where the coward terrorists are hiding behind women and children it causes innocent deaths and many of them include women and children. Can you detend that? Fight them on a one to one basis even though it will be higher casualties n Israelis but that is what should distinguish a democracy from a dictatorship?. Good from evil?. Well as I have said many times Israel is surrounded by very fierce and violent enemies (who don't even have mercy for their own people) so it has the right to defend itself on the battleground however, the border guards (soldiers) who referred to being killed are SOLDIERS whose duty is to fight the enemy and sometimes get killed too. There is a state of war between Israeli Army and various Pelestinian liberation fronts (not sure about their names like Hezbolah, or Hamas or whatever). However killing defencess civilians who have no part in the battle by Israeli soldiers from the air in particular who have no place to take refuse is not justifiable by any means and I cannot defend for any possible reason no matter how much I may see Israeli right to self defence (in the battle with Armed fighters) or may dislike Arab actions in the past and future against other nations who they invaded and destroyed.

Let me first start by saying that I am not anti-semitic. In fact I am no friend of Arabs as it is their actions in the past and present that I hate rather than people themselves. That said we cannot justify forceful actions or discriminations by Israeli military and government by saying that Arabs are worse (which indeed they are by far worse. If the situation is ever reversed there would have been massacre). Why I say what I say is because Israel is claimed to be a democracy and we don't expect force and discrimination (or shooting civilians) from a democracy as opposed to Arabs (and some Islamic states but non-arabs too) have proven records of discrimination and much worse like invading and forcing and many other evil actions past many centuries. It reminds me of my Russian girlfriend who justfied Russian soldiers rapes in Berlin by saying that many Germans also raped Russian Women when they captured Russia. My answer was well there were Nazis. It was expected of them but Russia was hold to better standards because they were fighting nazis so we expected better of them. Just saying.

Sometimes standing firm against dictatorships and evil regimes works. A good example of that was Reagan who stood up against Soviet evil empire until it fell. North Korea can be another example for Trump however, we are not there yet. That said I don't think Trump's firm policy against another evil regime in ME is working at least not so far. If the minorities had taken arms against the majority and randomly killing the majority then yes it was legitimate that they would be arrested and put on trial and punish according to the law of the land not randomly picked upon for being a minority and put to death.

Well I can't comment about Sri Lanka as I know nothing. I had to google search to find out where it is lol!!!!!. The majority rule is a majority rule. Anyone disobeying it is a rebel (or if that someone resort to violent action that person is a terrorist).

If they oppress minorities for illegitimate reasons then they are not democracies. But otherwise yes government action is justified. If a government is elected by a majority then the minority has to obey it. If they start violent opposition (as an example like IRA in Northern Ireland in the 70's and 80's) then government action to oppress them is legitimate.

I call a spade a spade. Any regime who is supported by other murderous regimes must be murderous right? It was America's intervention which won the second world war against Nazis and the cold war against commies. As what the world would have been if nazis had won, it would have been a dictatorship like Middle East but of military shape rather than religious. No freedom, secret police arresting randomly, torturing to death, executions, wars very much like Iran is today. Nazis in power for less than half Europe for just a few years and they killed 50 million including 6 million defenseless Jews now what the number would have been if they had taken over the whole world for a few decades? Billions?

No the US is the good guy because: They fought against Nazi Germany (if it wasn't for the US entering the war, Nazis would have won and taken over the world), they stood up against the Evil Empire (the Soviets) and protect Western Europe and half the world against communist dictatorship to take over and eventually it was US policies which resulted in the West winning the cold war. They stood up or standing up against dictators and murderers like Saddam, Taliban, The Ayatolahs, Assad, Ghadafi .......... They have supported research into diseases discovering many cures and treatments, promoted advances in technologies resulting in better lives for people all over the world, biggest producer/exporter of food, biggest foreign aid bugget helping poor nations, always the first to send aid to disaster areas, and the list goes on for many more reasons. So excluding Vietnam war, use of nuclear bombs in Japan (though the use likely resulted in less deaths) and Iran coup (1953), they are the good guys in my book for reasons stated. Russia on the other hand, occupation and suppression of Eastern Europe and former Soviet blocks, massacre in Afghanistan, Chechnia, invasions of Hungary and Czecholavakia, intimidation of many countries including their neighbors, supporting dictators and muderous regimes and the list goes on.

Yes 40 years is just about right (ever since a peanut brain farmer became the US president) and many like yourself have been waiting for peace and security. That said to respond to your post, Peace will be established when Europe and the US find the balls to TAKE OUT the cancerous organ(s) in ME. US is the most powerful country with strongest military and the good guy (as sopposed to Russia, N. Korea regimen, Iran regime and syrian regime). They have an obligation to the world and humanity to use their power against the bad guys to make it a better more peaceful world.

This is not true. First of all Iraq DID have weapons of mass destructin. They USED chemical weapons against Iranian soldiers and civilians in the mid 80's and this is a proven fact (or you wish to deny that too?). Second the News media did not report it (how could they possibly have known this) but the Bush Administration insisted that they have it.
