  1. The very couragous brave woman who was thrown off the utility box by the regime mercenary (so called police officer) was sentenced to one year in jail today for propagating prostitution!!! All because she went off a utility box and took off her hijab peacefully first thrown off and then beaten in jail (shown in quoted link) and now sentenced to one year jail. The only real prostitutes are those mercenaries who sell their minds and souls to the evil.
  2. The sun must have risen from the west this morning because I seem to agree with something that taxme says. Well at least partly. Yes there are very strong jewish lobby groups in the US and Europe and rumor has it that a US president cannot be elected without their support (of course this is a rumor only otherwise idiots like Carter and Obama would not have been elected right?). Now as I am unbiased i also look at the Israeli point of view. They won the war. They built and defended their country so of course they enjoy more rights in their own land for which their fathers fought and some died and there is no doubt in my mind the Jewish minorities in arab/muslim countries are being treated worse than Palestinian minorities in Israel. What am I saying even arabs and muslim majority are treated worse by their own governments than Israelis treat Palestinians!!!!
  3. First of all I had nothing to do with their appointments only Trump can do this. It is not like I am responsible for their appointments. As why Germany because Germany unlike Iraq did not have a neighbor to mess up things and create civil war after occupation and regime change. And I see the two countries very similar. People say a lot of things but once they come to power either do another or realize that what they were saying is not practical to act upon. Reagan was a good example of that who was talking war with Soviets but actually after becoming predident signed peace with Russians and eventually Soviets fell because he made US strong and put political and economic pressure on Russians. As for Iran not even once Trump after presidency has spoken about military invasion. Oh right so let's wait another 40 years and another million killed and a complete desctructin of the country (if there is any country left by then) is your suggested solution as alternative to a solid action now? Easy to say this when you are outside watching other people burned rather than if you are the one in the fire yourself.
  4. Just to clarify I am not advocating any military action (but since you asked for example, military invasion into Nazi Germany worked as Germans liberated, Hitler was replaced by democracy and the region (Europe) became very stable and peaceful after invasion). As I have said it before on several occasions I suggested political and econimic pressure otherwise the defenseless Iranian people would be in grave danger. And the reason for economic sanctions should change from nuclear development which is the right of Iranian people to respecting human rights or lack of it. It appears the west only looks after its own interest and concentrated on nuclear matters and Iran's involvements overseas and have forgotten about the defenseless Iranian people. It is true that in any military action innocent people will be harmed for a short time but are the innocent people not being harmed now? Or for the past 40 years over a million killed or for the next 40 years if the regime stays in power? This will not be an attack on the country but on attack on the regime. The Iraq`Saddam invasion was different. The Iraqi dictator invaded in order to take over the Iranian oil province of Khuzestan so of course Iranians defended their country whereas the possible American military action which I hope never happens is not to take over any part of Iran but to liberate the suffering nation and change a very unpopular regime and a free election. I am on the side of the weak and defenseless (Oppressed Women, struggling Iranian people, Palestinians under attack, the underdogs, the suppressed minorities like Yazidis in Iraq and people of Syria and many other examples)
  5. It is exactly this way of thinking expressed by SpankyMcFarland which kept them in power for 40 years and help them to turn a paradise into a hell on earth. By putting the fear of disintegration, civil war into their hearts and promise of reforms and better economy and more liberal laws which none materialized, creating wars in which hundreds of thousands got killed, masking as reformers, while stealing people's wealth making more poor people every day and destroying the land, sea and environment, putting 80 million in a big jail. If everyone thinks this way then be ready for another 40 years of tyranny and occupation of Iran to continue though long before that there will be no Iran. And the world played right into their hands for 4 decades. But new US administration and the highly educated new generations in Iran forming 70% of population are both smarter than that, At least we hope they are. I am not saying it is 100% risk free but in every enterprise or progress there is a risk has to be taken otherwise never board a plane or drive on roads or cross streets or even sleep under a roof as it may collapse. You wish to get rid of a brutal regime. You cannot do this peacefully. Iran today is similar to Stalin Soviet era not Gorbachev Soviet. Iranian politics year review: https://en.radiofarda.com/a/iran-poitical-review-khamenei-rouhani/29121036.html
  6. It is estimated that about 20 to maximum 30% of population who are paid in various ways by the regime are backing the regime. Remember recent uprising came mainly from rural and poor Iranians so your statement is no longer valid. Once the flow of money to these people stops (by say a blokade of oil export) then the money based support will vanish too. A loyalty based on money is not very coherence as we all know it. If there is an external attack which I am not advocating then it should come in the form of a massive military invasion using ground forces, toppling the regime, holding free elections in which everyone can take part and followed by a transfer of power to the one who wins the free elections. The worse scenario is a few isolated cowardly bombing attacks here and there especially by Israel which would only strenghen the regime as you said it as they will play the nationalistic game as they did in 1980.
  7. But they will support policies resulting in regime change. There are no liberals in the Iran ruling system. Some are wearing liberal masks (true liberals are all screened out or are in jail) but only to fool the people home and abroad (and they were successful to fool Obama and even the people for 4 decades but now everyone knows this fact that it has been only a political show game).
  8. First Mike Pompeo and then John Bolton both US nationalists and Europe joining US for some new sanctions on the outside and spreading anti regime demonstrations and a worsening economy and increasing corruptions and protests and widening political divisions on the inside, I have a feeling that the New year (in Iran) may not be such a great year for the regime though it could be a great historic year for the people of Iran.
  9. I am giving them the credit they deserve. Afghanistan is different as over 95% are both illiterate and religious fanatics with a strong support for Taliban but Iraq would have been likely a success if it wasn't for Iran regime meddling.
  10. Those countries were destabilized because of Iran regime meddling whose goal was to destabilize and concur. And to show Iranians that US invasions would bring a worse situation. I was referring to stabilizing force in terms of OIL supply and flow not regional stability in terms of military action. Saudis are a reliable source of oil supply for the west and they have strong enough military to secure its flow.
  11. It was Mosadegh who nationalized Iranian oil 20 year before this video. It is though true that the Shah said that in 1979 Iran will not renew the pack with Consorsium anymore and guess what? The revolution against him occurred exact same year. https://www.nytimes.com/1973/01/24/archives/iran-tells-oil-consortium-pact-will-not-be-renewed-companies.html
  12. I agree that the change should come from within Iran but the regime is too brutal for such change to happen anytime soon. They have blocked slightest changes in 40 years even jailed or killed their own gang who wanted slightest reform. They are ready to get rid of half the population if they have to in order to survive. This is not Soviet Union in early 90's and Iran leader is no Gorbachev. Iran nation needs support and all non-military help they can get from the West. The policy of appeasement has totally failed and while the regime lasted 4 decades changng a paradise to hell on earth for their people using every trick in the world like entertaining Iran nation with promises of reforms which never materialized and those pretenting to be reformists or occupying their people with purposely created wars while destroying their lands and seas and stealing the nation's wealth for themselves, but Iran nation has become alert and has realized all that now. They are also using the Iraq civil war excuse to frighten the population from rising up, without alering to the fact that it was THEM who created chaos and civil war in Iraq without them a peaceful post-invasion transition would have very likely emerged. The question is what kind of help? I think we all agree that a ground invasion similar to Iraq should not be an option but full support for opposition groups and political pressure on the regime and full economic sanctions may just work as well to galvanize Iran nation to rise up in masses especially an oil blockage may mean that the regime may not have funds to finance their supporters and the guards to suppress Iran nation. Iran is a civilization of 2500 years history where they (Persians, Kurds, Lors, Azaris, Baluchis ) all share the love for their homeland. They lived in peace and harmony under one flag and are strongly tied to each other for centuries and extremely nationalist regardless of race and religion and they share the same values and traditions like Nowruz or Yalda and same history too. For example when the Turks took over Azeri province the whole population left the cities in protest so the turks left too back home as there was no point to occupy empty towns and cities. Even the Arabs fought on Iran side when Iraqi Arabs invaded province of Khuzestan in 1980. Most of Kurds also fought on the side of Iran. The same scenario that happened in Iraq is very unlikely to happen in Iran.
  13. But it was. If it wasn't for Carter the Shah would have cracked down on mullahs as he did in 1963 but in 1979 he was under pressure as Carter was elected on human rights. Btw, Trump hasn't done much better. There will not be a regime change by just talking about it.
  14. Incorrect. Yes they are indeed the only factor. The Saudis are there (in Iraq, Yemen) because Iran regime STARTED the problems. If it wasn't for Iranian revolution, None of these would have heppened. Time to clean up the mess that a peanut brain farmer Carter created.
  15. If we are talking about governments not so. It is Iran government who is creating problems for the entire region (and the west's interest is the keep the region stable for an unintrrupted oil flow) by their proxies everywhere whereas the Saudis are the stabalizing force. In terms of the people (that is 99% of people excluding the rulling party) yes Iran nation is much friendlier to the west and much more westernised than Saudis. If there is a regime change in Iran then you may have the friendliest country to the west in the region who culturally also very close. A large portion of Iranians are westernised and love western culture like romance, valentine's day, parties, western music and dance, western goods and dress and many western values (unlike Saudis and many other countries like Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Egypt, Pakistan, UAE or Afghanistan who despise all that). 50 years of Pahlavi dynasty put its mark on the history and Iran and it is irreversible no matter what the mullahs do. Even mullahs who pretend hating the west consume western goods all of the time.
  16. There should be a war on Islamic extremism anywhere in the world wherever they are and pose a threat to civilized world. This war may include direct military action (without hitting civilian targets as much as possible). The world waited too long on Hitler and 50 million people died as a result but this time 5 billion will die if they get their hand on WMD as they are about too. Canada is a small player because of its relatively small size and army but United States and Britain should play a much bigger role.
  17. Are you on drugs or forgotten your medication to make up stories like that. NO ONE said the Soviets did not invade Iran in 1941 (together with the British). We say that Stalin did not put Mahamad Reza Shah on the crown which was his at the first place. He was the crown prince when this illegal invasion occured.
  18. Really you need to educate yourself before making grossly false statements. It was a conference in Tehran attended by Stalin, Churchil and US President and the Shah was the host. The Shah had pictures with US president too as per my attachment in my earlier post in the same conference. Btw, the conference was held 2 years after invasion. They invaded because they needed Iran as a bridge to supply the allied Soviets in the war against Germany not to put anyone on the crown. In fact they overthrow his father Reza Shah the great from power by this stupid invasion.
  19. I don't know of any devastating war just before Arab invasion that Sassanid fought. Why you call it attitude? When there is a reason for a dislike or even hate then it is hardly called an attitude. For example hatred of Nazis in the west or Russia is hardly considered an attitude. Arabs invaded and destroyed Persian culture (based on good words, good thoughts and good deeds and respect for women) and its Empire 1400 years ago. It wasn't only one generation who suffered but hundreds of generations after. Then Iraqis invaded in 1980 and in 8 years of imposed war half a million Iranians died. And their country is under occupation again by those promoting Arab culture and again they are paying a heavy price for that for lack of freedom, democracy, equality, bad economy, inflation, unemployment, economic and social disparity........ and the list goes on.
  20. That always surprised me as how come a nation which was invaded and forced a religion then retain that forced religion after independence (They kicked invading Arabs out about 100 years later). My guess is that 100 years of captivity brainwashed them completely. That said from what I see and hear the current regime managed very well to do what 1400 years passage of time failed to do. As kactus said the young generation which is two-third of population now (who will be the whole population in a decade or two) have come out of it now very fast and clear in just 40 years!!!.
  21. Not sure it was that small force. Arabian region then consisted of today's Saudi Arabia/Yemen plus Iraq plus Syria and Jordan. Though what was decisive was the violent force who were promised heaven if died in the battle with beautiful young angels waiting for them and if come alive then everything they capture including women all belong to them. It is hard to fight against people who wish and prefer to die than come alive out of battle.
  22. Being Invaded and forced is hardly called adopting!!!!!!!!
  23. And Noruz is coming starting tonight with the Festival of Fires. It is the biggest celebrations in Iran by Persians for 14 days and the regime oppose to it as it is a pre-Islamic tradition in Ancient Persia now celebrated widely by many tens of millions of people. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2018/03/13/iran-protesters-ready-to-signal-new-day-for-regime.html
  24. Here is some fruit for thought. The current President and fomer president and the grandson of the former leader of revolution all predicting the fall of the regime unless the regime hears the voice of the nation and recognizes the social change and listen to social demands for freedom and address the economic issues : https://english.alarabiya.net/en/features/2018/03/12/-Khomeini-s-grandson-criticizes-crackdown-of-Iran-protests.html Even the interior minister prodicts reignition of popular protests https://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2018/03/iran-rahmani-fazli-interior-minister-protests-spark-report.html
  25. You are making a fool out of yourself in public. First you claimed that Stalin installed Mahamad Reza Shah on the crown and your very false gross claim was rebuffed with evidence and then you changed your story completely and claimed again very falsely that I have said that Stalin didn't invade Iran and didn't force Reza Shah to leave!!!!!!!!. Seriously you discredited yourself real bad.
