Teachers Union given $1 million for Overtime.
poochy replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
That's right, and you aren't allowed to call them out for being the gutter trash that they are lest you get labelled as not nice. Which since it seems the voting public is mostly composed of intellectual children is something you just can't do. -
Then i guess there is no need to legalize marijuana either. O and so there is too much information available about us already? Sounds like a reason for not needing the long form census. The short form will do fine.

it matters because from the particular part of the world it's the men who blow things up, or its the men who ocaisionally get women/cheldren to blow things up, and its the men who benefit from a culture that treats women as chattel. So i say bring all women and children, let them come here and learn a better way.

Well, the problem is, and i know you know this, the vast majority of the people who were so supposedly upset by those evil conservatives actually couldn't care less about those refugees, no more than they cared about the truth or lack thereof in the evil empire narrative they created even before the first time they were elected. Nothing else matterred to them more than winning, the refugees were an opportunity, no different than say the Ecole Polytechnique victims were. I laugh when they complain about attack ads when those same people have done nothing but impune the character of conservatives for years. But they do it nicely so it's ok, even the way thise place is moderated reflects the way our society has learned to behave, it's ok to treat conservatives like garbage, but dare not bring up the failings of liberals. Worst of all is the liberal party is laughing at the very people who voted for them in the belief that they are somehow different. They stand for everything and nothing, their lie about this issue is just another in a long line of examples, anything for power, no principles.

Right...and that fatigue didn't have anything to do with the years of lies that were told about how evil he was and all of the terrible things he was going to do, because that invented perception has no impact on people when he does something like make it harder to get EI when we know full well that defrauding the EI system is a way of life for many. How can you possibly ignore how this government was vilified from even before they were elected when you say something like that? We know for a fact that the previous liberal government did more damage to all aspects of the civil service than the last conservative government did, but yet when they get voted out that same civil service treats trudeau like a member of the Beatles. I might have voted for the liberals were it not for the leader, and some of the more 'Gerald Butsist' marxism, but we still see the rhetoric here everyday about how evil the conservatives were and its utter nonsense, and considering that the country was doing just fine it's ludicrous to ignore the lies and gross exaggerations that were told about what they were doing. Just as it's ridiculous to applaud an entire region of the country voting for the party that they think will allow them to get away with working less, or by lying to an entire portion of our society about the need for an inquiry into things we already have the answers for, but again, we couldn't actually believe the RCMP or the Conservatives about that either, they just aren't nice enough. Suddenly all those people who want 'fact based' decision making don't care about the facts, shocking.

So your riding doesnt need or want it? it was being forced upon them for no reason? All politicians make promises to buy votes, all of them, but few of them are voted out when the country is doing well compared to it's contemporaries. But the election was never really about that, it was about making the 'rich' pay, it was about things like punishing the conservatives for expecting people to work year round instead of scamming EI year in and year out, which we should all be against. It was about those mean conservatives expecting people to take care of themselves, and you see it here everyday, the majority simply don't want to. Don't worry though, ill pick up the tab.
-
Yes, there is a loser here all right, but considering you appear to be on the side of people who think they should get paid by others who work year round to sit at home for 6 months it's not really a surprise.
-
Really? Best you can do I guess, but being from that area, and having virtually all of my family still living there, i can tell you that the liberals won in a landslide mostly because of the backlash against the EI changes. But im sure you know better.

Probably no more than the proportion of the millions of Canadians who smoked weed under those evil conservatives.
-
Yes, many Canadians get get behind the idea of good times to come if they simply vote for someone who smiles a lot and is 'nice' while promising to tax some people more in order to allow others to continue getting away with doing less. Take Atlantic Canada as a case study. Hoorah for Canadians.

As is almost everything this person posts, it's all liberal lies, the evil empire propaganda narrative, and boy is it boring.
-
Gosh I find your posts amusing, so the conservatives apparently invented entirely new laws to create new criminals, meanwhile the liberals bring back the ever so important long form census that asks a number of questions that should be no ones business along with the penalties for not completing it. Just like the liberal gun registry that didnt meet it's intended purpose and made instant criminals of people for not completing paperwork on time. Of course those evil, inventing criminals conservatives got rid of both, and then there is the, were building jails everywhere false narrative, meanwhile the same people complain about double bunking in old jails, exactly how many more jail cells do we have now vs how many we needed to make up for over crowding and to replace old jails? So how many 'new' criminals are there, how many completely new laws did they invent, how many new unnecessary prisons did they build? O and btw, your personal beliefs of how long certain people should spend in prison isn't the same as "inventing new criminals", i mean those evil conservative bastards wanted people who used a gun in the commission of a crime to spend more time in prison and the liberals wanted to make criminals of people who simply owned firearms legally and forgot to renew their license. Really, you should try harder, this is too easy.

You said you pay less tax from 44-220k, you do not, you pay less from 44-89k, so no. it's not a decrease to 220, its a decrease on the portion up to 89. A very small decrease, which will be completely offset for many who will pay MUCH more without income splitting.
-
I guess the information on their own website is a lie, "Canadians with taxable income between $44,700 and $89,401 per year will see their income tax rate fall." https://www.liberal.ca/files/2015/05/Fairness-for-the-Middle-Class.pdf There is no change from 89-138k, and of course with no income splitting many of those families who earn that collectively will pay thousands more in tax. But im sure other people deserved it more.
-
You want Canadian women to have more kids? What are you some kind of monster? That's just not progressive, and we will not stand for it, bringing in thousands of immigrants who don't even speak the predominant language, well that's something all together different. That's a sunny way.

How Trudeau will work very hard on dumping FPTP
poochy replied to overthere's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Yea Martin was quite conservative, especially when he slashed the budget to the bone, of course the conservatives did nothing even close, but were still vilified beyond measure for (not) doing it. -
Rona Ambrose Elected Tory Interim Leader

yes we know, that narrative is already being started by the sunnier ways liberals, do you get all of your talking points from pnp? -
Rona Ambrose Elected Tory Interim Leader

Well he did fill the senate with conservatives at the last...o no, he didn't. So evil though, so evil. -
Which decisions, please explain in detail.

It would be nice if liberals could provide the actual tangible changes, not the over blown or invented out of thin air changes, that we should all be able to see in our everyday lives (considering how terrible those changes seem to be) that the conservatives foisted upon us. Having lived through the previous liberal government, the conservative government, and now perhaps the most corrupt provincial government, liberal, in the history of the country, still when i live my day to day life, virtually nothing of major significance has changed. For example, despite the alleged, destruction of our environment, I just went down to this very large lake i live near, and it's not covered with oil. But yet everything Trudeau will do to, undo the wrongs of the past, will be some great triumph for civilization! Honestly I can't begin to imagine what it would be to occupy the mind that could believe this nonsense, grow up children, grow up. Im sorry if my engineering diploma and science degrees isn't enough in your, no doubt superior liberal mind, to allow me to comment on these issues, but in my opinion, you are absolutely full of it, and you probably know it, or at least for your own sake i sure as hell hope you do
-
O and fyi, i've forgotten more about science than you imagined to know. But of course being that you're a liberal you have all the answers about everything and 10 years where your ideals weren't in charge must therefore have been our version of the dark ages, o better turn on your flashlight, must be getting dark in there.
-
Yea yea, we know, Harper was treated exactly the same as Trudeau will be, do you actually believe the nonsense you write?
-
Thank goodness, look at how all of our lives changed while it was gone.

So if you are a person and went somewhere where you stood out and, you know, stood out, and those people that noticed acted a certain way, like asking you where you are from, are they microaggresive, etc, or are they just doing things that people do? People, they sure are human.
