  1. Try as you might, you can't actually cover up reality by insinuating that people have said things that are either untrue, or outrageous, but thanks for the contribution.
  2. Of course you're not really making a nazi reference, the insinuation that anyone, including whoever it was that you were responding to, is wanting it their way, that being the way of those seen as the historically most far right (though some debate that), would be an incredibly unreasonable thing to write and clearly not something anyone would do, even in a back handed fashion. Perhaps you should elaborate on who they really are and what the solution would be so we can clearly associate the solution with those here who want it that way, lest their be any confusion.
  3. Not one of the "you're a racist, you're a bigot, you're a xenophobe" gang has even bothered themselves to repond to this question. Why?
  4. If moderators can't even be bothered to tell you why they suspend you without you asking, while far left nuts (we can all use that word now right? Should I quote it again?) call you every name in the book and get away with it, why should anyone show either of them the tiniest bit of respect? Let the left wing nuts have their echo chamber, that's what the really want anyway, o and what could possibly be wrong enough with a post such that you would let the poster know about it, but then keep it up on the board? It's just another grey area for your bias to exploit.
  5. Well he wrote the quote below and got completely away with it, so if you have any doubt about the allegiances of moderation here they should be thoroughly removed. "It may be surprising that the right wing nut jobs will drone on about for instance how some Muslim men treat their wives, and then turn cheek and suggest that whacking their child upside the head is OK if they misbehave in some way. Perhaps even because Jesus tells them so. (which he didn.t) The hypocrisy is so obvious. Perhaps that is why numerous studies have found conservatives to be less educated and underemployed and more partaking of welfare services than their liberal counterparts who tend to be teachers and do well and pay taxes. Oh well. T'was ever thus I suppose. " Trash comment followed by even worse moderation. But then if he makes a drive by insult at every conservative thats fine, but don't you dare respond in kind, even just to him, that just isn't done. Right moderator? How quickly will you remove this I wonder, in your clearly noble pursuit of a better forum?
  6. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/justin-trudeau-syrian-refugees-canada-1.3335517 "Justin Trudeau broke a campaign promise on Tuesday. And it might be the smartest decision his fledgling government makes in the next four years." Yep, agreed.

Of course the little broken promise didn't hurt his election chances. But they were nice about it, so it's ok, don't question it, it makes you look mean!

      On Guard for Thee

The election is not for years yet. I doubt this little change in plans will have much effect.

  7. Which is what the same sort of thing people do here everyday, you don't agree with me? BIGOT! Are they unaware that they do this, or stupid enough to think that better people than them won't catch on?
  8. The post you quoted is just one among many examples of the 'the best defense is a good offense' tactic, he knows damn well that the liberals have already back tracked on more than just this, it may only be by degrees, but it's still not what they said they would do. Of course it's just that those of us who didnt vote for them are 'upset' unhuh, of course, i mean, what else could it be?
  9. Honestly, this is a pretty ridiculous thread. I don't think he's terribly bright, but that's something else entirely.
  10. Are you 12? Just so we understand the facts here, the liberals were wrong, the election promise wasn't realistic, even after Paris they refused to back track, and after weeks of questions and complaints and taken abuse from (insert insult here) like you it turns out the liberals finally agree with us, not you. So, it seems, to use your pathetic insult, that you are the one that is butt hurt. Again, are you 12?
  11. Happy about being correct after being abused for making the point, but think what you will.
  12. Neither are most of the people here, no matter how much you want to imagine it.
  13. I dont disagree, but moving the goal posts happens on both sides.
  14. But they already did that when they chose not to take single unattached men, which is also a good choice imo, but it's only really ok if a liberal suggests it, otherwise, bigotry! However, now i read that private citizens will be able to sponsor anyone, including single men, maybe that will be later after there has been more time to screen them.
  15. O look, a preemptive strike. The same people who were lauding him for standing by the 25,000 number will now claim this new plan was a good decision, so what's your point? Right...never had one. Anyway, here in the real world, not rushing this is and always was the right choice, so the liberals were wrong to hang onto this pledge, and now they have made a better choice, that's assuming they actually had real intentions of bringing in 25,000 before the end of the year to begin with, but we will never know.
  16. Because we are different we have never had any terrorist attacks or plots on our soil that intended to do harm to Canadians.
  17. http://news.nationalpost.com/full-comment/wynne-slammed-over-racism-remarks-and-other-reasons-to-fear-for-humanity Even Ujal Dosanjh is a racist for questioning the time line, you either completely agree, or you're a racist, or a bigot.
  18. I wish you would stop with your faux claims of how the conservatives broke your heart, it's becoming a bit nauseating. I dont know anything about those positions, but compared to the liberals before them this seems like a small thing. Chretien isn't called the king of patronage for nothing. O and did you notice that Harper didn't stuff the senate with conservatives at the last minute? You think the previous liberal government would have been so kind?
  19. It's the Canadian way, treat your own people like garbage so you can appear to be the nice, useless country liberals think you should be.
  20. It is Islamophobic to suggest not rushing the screening process over security concerns, but it isn't when you exclude a portion of the refugees for simply being unattached males, the vast majority of whom are obviously not terrorists, it's the very definition of profiling. But when it's being done by liberals it's suddenly not a problem.
  21. It appears we will not be taking any unattached male refugees, by some standards here this means the federal liberals are Islamophobic, clearly not all unattached males would be terrorists. But i bet this line of thinking will suddenly become more ok now.

The government is sexist against men.

  22. Maybe you can give the conservatives a special marking and the extreme muslims will only kill those people. Maybe I should be allowed to tell you what I really think of you and a few of your cohorts, but honesty and intelligence is frowned upon. Which is of course why some of our lesser lights thrive while the rest of us despair for the future.
  23. Your posts are nothing but ridiculous talking points and hyperbole. Everything you mention in that first line was done worse by the Chretien liberals, more lay offs, more cuts, you're empty talking points won't change that. That of course isn't to mention the economic crisis the conservatives had to navigate. Unlike the boom time the liberals benefited from, I honestly don't know if you are lying or simply don't know any better.
