  1. The reality is all religions have blood stains, some admittedly bigger than others. But don't sit there and act likes Christians take the high ground on crazy, they are knee deep in crazy.
  2. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/03/07/kids-rescued-from-ocean-said-mom-tried-to-killed-us-sc-woman-charged-with/ This women attempted to kill her children to see Jesus. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2788830/pastor-s-estranged-wife-dressed-three-daughters-white-stabbed-two-children-meet-jesus.html This crazy chick dressed up her 3 daughters in white and stabbed 2 of them so they could see jesus. Both from this year and that's just the first two pages I found on google. They may not be as prevalent but they do happen.
  3. All I said was I think I've proven this true. Beside the point. The point is no Abrahamic religion is innocent. As proven above. You only have to look as far as Pro-life christians killing medical professionals for religious violence commited by christians. Or some crazy women killing her kids so they can see god. Christians are crazy people too.
  4. Not to mention the fact that your comparing someone killing in the name of the religion. Why would the vatican need to do anything, just like ISIS didn't need to do anything. They didn't do the killing, someone did it for them.
  5. They don't need one. Don't kid yourself in thinking that people don't join the army, navy and air forces of the world for religious reasons. Especially after 2003. Racially and religiously motivated killings happen in war too. They're just more tolerated by society because they can't prove its racially or religiously motivated. We don't even have to get into the catholics churches collusion with hitler, the witch trials, the heretic trials, the crusades, the inquisitions, the forced conversions of native americans, as well as their attempted genocides of native americans. Remember Christianity has a couple centuries on Islam. None of the Abrahamic religions are innocent, so don't pretend they are.
  6. They don't have to take hostages they have drones.
  7. Yeah because the other Abrahamic religions have never done anything crazy...
  8. Remember that time she made the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of the Environment look like a fool with his PMO talking points. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8jH8A5fjis
  9. How do you figure that?
  10. How many is most? 75 percent? 50 percent? 25 percent? Help us out and name a few than. I posted the conservative election platform a few posts back, you can use it as a guide if you're having trouble.
  11. Depends on your motives for bombing it.
  12. His empty promises are hugely evident in non-partisan voters. I know many people who voted for him based on his election platform, of which there's evidence he hasn't delivered on any of it. In fact he's gone the opposite way on all of it. Many people are sick of his total lack of disregard for his promises to his voters and he should be held accountable for that. But accountability has never been a conservative strong point.
  13. Exactly what I was trying to say. The Partisan of the posters above is showing in their complete disregard for talking about any other political party than The Cons and The Libs. They only speak of Trudeau's hair and his lack of experience. They don't speak of Harper's shortcomings ever. They are partisan voters and will vote Conservative regardless of anything else.
  14. I think Iran is almost completely Shia but there's a large chance that this guy is a Sunni Muslim which is more or less what ISIS is mostly made up of. Those with radicalized ideas of Islam often come from the Sunni side of Islam. Not always evidently but more often than not.
  15. I'm not currently an NDP supporter but I have a massive amount of respect for Megan Leslie. One of the better women represented in our parliament. I love how she tears Leona Aglukkaq apart every chance she gets. She is great in QP and has a powerful voice in all other parliamentary affairs in which she is involved in. In my opinion she would make a great PM one day if she ever runs for leadership of the NDP.
  16. Also the "what would you rather..." does not apply to it being or not being torture, that is an illogical argument.
  17. Pretty sure I just cleared that one up, see above. Torture can and does cause mental anguish as well. If you haven't gone through it, you can not relate to the fact of it being or not being torture. It's subjective but those whom have not experienced it really have no say. To say water boarding does not cause damage to the body means you have no idea what "drowning" someone can do to their brain. Neurological problems can happen within minutes. Damage to lungs and brain damage from oxygen deprivation can and have occurred during water boarding.
  18. Subjective to a point Shady and to whomever is receiving the torture. I've never heard of anyone whose been water boarded say it's not torture. Just those who have no sniff of what it actually feels like, who would then, logically, have no say on the matter.
  19. Torture noun \ˈtȯr-chər\ 1. something that causes mental or physical suffering : a very painful or unpleasant experience. 2: the act of causing severe physical pain or mental anguish as a form of punishment or as a way to force someone to do or say something. By the very definition water boarding is torture. Heck sitting for an hour during a christian mass can be considered torture. They wouldn't do it if they didn't think it was torture.
  20. I wouldn't give it to Trudeau either. But if Education is the ultimate deciding factor I'd choose Muclair and May over both Trudeau and Harper. If we're talking experience well then Harper would for obvious reasons be the winner there not that more experience ever means you're better at something. All of the four major political parties in Canada have leaders with vast accomplishments one not really being more relevant than another. And policy pronouncements well I'd have to award that one to the Elizabeth May and the Green Party who has without a doubt the most comprehensive policy plan booklet I have seen among the four majors. Most won't have all of their official policies out until next year. The NDP has made some plans, we haven't heard much concrete from the libs and the cons major political policy so far is "weed is bad mmmkay kids." They have failed on almost all of their major policy promises' that got them elected including; - their failure to overturn gun control - their failure to "clean up Ottawa" - their failure to become more transparent - their tax break failures - their failure to invest in responsible research - their drug control failure, which will always be a failure but a promise is a promise. - their better health care system failure - their student tuition and support for students failures - their utter failure of everything to do with veterans - their failure to strengthen the powers of federal auditors - their accountability failures - their freedom of information failures - their failure to address the shortage of skilled workers and their utter botched attempts at fixing the foreign workers programs. - their softwood lumber failures. I also could go on and on but you can read this trustbreaker.freehostia.com/CON Election Platform.htm and tell me what they did deliver on.
  21. I'm just curious here but what do you consider relevant education, experience, accomplishments or policy pronouncements when running for Prime minister of Canada? Please note I'm not a huge fan of Trudeau either I'm just wondering what the qualifications are for one to be deemed relevant for the post of PM.
  22. That's exactly right. 133 Israeli children have been killed by Palestinians and 2060 Palestinian children have been killed by Israel since September 29, 2000. But the right will claim that is self defence. During the Fiscal Year 2014, the US has providing Israel with at least $8.5 million/day in military aid. 0 Israeli homes have been taken over and demolished over by Palestinians and at least 28,000 Palestinian homes have been illegally taken over and demolished by Israeli forces. These illegal demolitions are a violation of the 4th Geneva Convention. Israel also has 262 Jewish-only settlements and outposts on confiscated and occupied Palestinian land, which also violates the 4th Geneva Convention. As of July 2014 dated back to 2001, Palestinian rocket attacks have killed 33 people and wounded another 1971. Palestinians have killed 540 Israelis in terrorist bombings. The reality of the situation is most civilians in this long standing feud agree with ending it. But Hamas and the Israeli government have no interest in doing so.
  23. Does a Muslim state have the same rights to defend themselves against the same things you listed?
  24. Quote the part where I engaged in a hypothetical and misstated an Israeli law. I also never said that people in Israel do not have land title rights. Now you're just pulling arguments out of your ass that I have said nothing about. This is like talking to a brick wall. But since you bring up land title rights... How about when the Israeli government kicks Palestinian people out of their own homes throwing their furniture on the streets to make room for a Jewish family to move in? Claiming that it's illegal for a muslim to live in that neighbourhood but it's legal for a Jew to move in the same day they kick them out. Giving them no restitution for the money they have lost. A family that now lives on the street. Because Israel deemed it illegal for a muslim to live in that home. Which of course is why Israel has been condemned twice by 158 out of 166 nations in one vote, and 160 nations out of 171 nations in a 2nd vote, in the United Nations Assembly for making illegal settlements that violate the 4th Geneva Convention. But that's okay to you I'm sure because they never had the "right" to be there, yet they purchased the home legally. Resided in it legally under Israeli and international law, up until the Israeli gvoernment decided they wanted to start some shit up again so they evict them. But people have "land title rights" in Israel...
  25. hahaha you did it again. The only reason no one ever has a chance to say anything about Palestine is because you always turn it around and make it about Israel again, You can't let a single post go because of your position. Which is understandable but don't pretend your subjective. You piss on Palestine every chance you get. For Israel to recognize Palestine as a state and for Palestine to reciprocate they could maybe take the high road and stop settling in what would be Palestine's land. Simple enough, right? Instead they play the same game the Palestinians play and it gets neither side nowhere and breeds more animosity between the two factions. But it's okay right, an eye for an eye? I thought your religion taught against that kind of thinking? I guess they don't really care about religious morals after all. It's all about you hurt me so I'll hurt you at this point and neither side can grow up enough to get past their self-righteous attitudes. Well I guess there is a reason why people with lower IQ's are more prone to religious beliefs.
