  1. At this point, I don't believe anybody. As I said, there has been no proof and very little credible evidence on who did what. Consensus doesn't equal proof and I see no reason why Bush or Romney would know anything more than anybody else. If I had to lean on the side of believing anybody, it would probably be Assange.
  2. Any Lawyer of Mueller's ability can make any person perjure themselves. As famed defense lawyer Leslie Abramson said, "If I think they're guilty I don't let them talk, if I think they're innocent definitley don't let them talk".
  3. Mueller is not investigating the DNC hacks, they have never even seen the servers - no FBI agent has. And, collusion is so last month. Now the hot topic is "obstruction", which too seems to be failing. All Mueller can hope for is setting up a perjury trap.
  4. Do you understand the difference between proof and conjecture? The DNC saying they thought it was Russians is not proof - it's conjecture, and it actually ties into the info from the memos. The FBI didn't even investigate and Assange say's that it wasn't Russians. A former FBI IT guy says that all the hallmarks show that it was someone hacking from inside their own office - So yeah, there is no proof...and if it is proven that the Russians hacked, then I guess we'll wait and see how it involves Trump - but, don't hold your breath on that one.
  5. Maybe, just maybe, he didn't talk to people is a snotty nose condescending way like you lefties do. More than that, Trump actually listened to the people. Understand that, he listened!
  6. Great, You'll be sure to let me know when that "proof" is found, won't you?
  7. Anyone who had even the smallest forum weighed in on the US election. You cant say that Russia had anymore influence on the election than any (insert European union member here) foreign leader, including Canada's PM. Every foreign media weighed in, every world leader, every NGO and every activist group weighed in openly on behalf of Hillary Clinton...and against Donald Trump. Who cares if Russia placed a few Facebook ads? How much influence did Merkel or May have? The DNC/Clintons were paying people to go on social media and beat down Trump supporters - who cares, that's the new game, that's the social media age. Even today, foreign entities are still meddling in USA politics - us included. 2 reasons why Hillary lost: 1) She lost the social media battle. Trump was talking straight up to Americans, while Hillary was talking down to them and 2) Polls had her ahead in nearly every state so instead of securing her strongholds, she went into Trump territory in an effort to run the table (so to speak) and spread herself too thin. There are more smaller reasons, but It's really that simple. Hillary lost because of arrogance.
  8. FFS, You people are absolutely inept!
  9. It's not a lot different than Obama rallying around trangender bathrooms and seeing bakeries get harassed while NoKo and Iran build their weaponry.
  10. Maybe it's an age thing. Maybe some of you are too young to remember actual freedom. I honestly think things are racially worse off than in the past, and I've never seen the division between the sexes that we're seeing now. Now, maybe the argument is "well, minorities and women are fighting back now", but it's not a global or national aspect that i'm referring to, it's in everyday niceties between people that seem to be gone. Men, and I know there will forced shock from some of you, feel outright disdain from women, even strangers on a regular basis and blacks and whites are getting tribal with each other. In the 80's we were all just "people", now we're all a subsection and stereotyped by everyone who is in a different subsection. This identity politics that Peterson talks about is certainly happening, and yes, Ill agree with him that it's dangerous.
  11. I don't even know what the fuck you talking about...Boogeyman? You have become a complete troll! Congratulations, you are exactly what people thought you were while you were a moderator. Trying to have a grown up conversation with you is infuriating, You throw out trolling posts - really, you're no better than Onmi now.
  12. At Charlottesville there was good people, peaceful protesters on the left as well as on the right. There were radicals on both sides too. The president shouldn't diminish the peaceful protesters on either side, and shouldn't give one side a free pass. The fact that he is required to side with Antifa...or else, is pretty good evidence that what JP is saying is true. You'll remember, i'm sure, that Antifa showed up in the thousands to various other events last summer with the intent to cause trouble and that the amount of "far right" protesters was generally fewer than 100. I'm sure you know about all the college riots and the shutting down of any event that featured someone with an opposing view. I'm sure you're aware of the far left political leaders like Trudeau and the problems they're having in Europe and Scandinavia. The fact that Trump isn't continuing down the road that Obama created has the left seriously freaking out. That should tell you something. You're post is a misrepresentation and the views ignorant. Anyway, before we derail a perfectly good thread, JP can look at psychology, politics and history can see exactly what is going on. He makes a lot of sense. I don't people should simply disregard him without seriously thinking about what he is saying. That said, you and people like you have already been convinced to not listen and certainly not allow dialogue.
  13. Agreed, however western society is not being pulled to the far right, it's being pulled far left. Despite what you may think, the far right groups are still marginalized - as they should be, whereas society hardly recognizes just how far left we've moved. And, as the far left (Socialist, Antifa and BLM types) take hold, the far right will resist - this was the Charlottesville problem. That, in a nutshell is the issue.
  14. I think if you asked Peterson, he would classify himself as a liberal and center left. His obvious frustration is that the left has gone so far left that anyone who is not lock step with the Trudeau or Pelosi types are considered right leaning.
  15. It happens non-stop in the media and politics. The reason this was so popular is because unlike most interviewees that would cower away and try to apologize, Peterson was unapologetic and made her (and us) understand the true point of not only the question at hand, but of her spin of his answers. Many real feminists are disappointed that Newman kept attacking Peterson while claiming the victim role.
  16. This is also a good lecture.
  17. ^^ have you ever really listened to what he says - i mean really listened to and thought about the it? I really doubt it. The guy is very smart and knows what he is talking about.
  18. As far as he's gone in the religious debate is acknowledge that western society is rooted in a christian belief system, he has also said in regards to God, that "he lives his life "as if there is a God". He generally looks at the bible and Christianity for the moral stories (both good and bad) that are presented and breaks them down into a sociological meaning.
  19. WoW! You do know who we're talking about...right?
  20. He admitted guilt to sexual misconduct of 7 girls and was given 175 years. The fact that 150 girls spoke up is clearly evidence of his guilt, but the fact is; it was a crime against 7 girls, not 150. What if he (or someone else) was charged with one count of sexual misconduct, but 10 women gave testimony to abusing them? What should that guy get for one count of sexual misconduct?
  21. I learned very early to judge the validity of something, based on how it's being sold.
  22. It's not just you, it's the new system. This is the thinking that we've been warned about for years. You're suggesting exactly what Argus is referring to, if the consensus agree that that really is Hilary stabbing babies, then it must be true. Here's an example; The GOP wants to release the FISA memo, and in a panic, the Dems want to release their own "memo". The Dems memo is going to be put forth for the exact reason that you are suggesting, regardless of facts, the media will undoubtedly support the Democrat memo. And, people like you will buy into the census. Don't you see the manipulation?
  23. You're saying that you're quite comfortable believing the consensus. So, if we have two news outlets telling you that Trump is unhealthy because he eats fast food and drinks a lot of diet coke, you're willing to believe that over the one non-bias doctor who personally examined him and says he's healthy, because two is greater than one. That's exactly what the media want from you.
