  1. Ok, I'm having trouble recognizing the appropriate outrage. Are we supposed to buy in that women don't cry at work? Are we saying "yes" women cry but it's a man's fault? Are we trying to talk ourselves into believing that women do cry, but men are worse? What is the socially engineered angle we're striving for?
  2. It gets easier and easier to be outraged every day - i guess!
  3. Taxing single mothers is just a ridiculous idea that goes against everything that our socialist society has built.
  4. Black Dog; Why is one a fair exchange and the other not? You challenged my comment, i asked if you disagree! You're just playing games now!
  5. Talking about 2 different situations - my bad. As far as the one you're referring, I agree.
  6. But what would you say to your 14 YO daughter about agitating a police officer?
  7. First off, the cop in question was way too intense for the situation. Secondly, what with these people always getting in the cop's faces? That girl was told to leave a number of times and just kept pushing and pushing. For a race of people that claim to be afraid of police, they sure seem fine with calling them names and not listening. Third, if I had a bunch of youths surround me like that cop faced, I'd pull my weapon too.
  8. Not really. As I said before, that's more of business or trade arrangement.
  9. Jacee is right about codependency, however it extends far beyond addictions. It's usually about one person being in a rut or negative situation and the other helping keep them there. The addict needs the other for money or support, and their codependant gives it to them because it makes them feel needed. They both get something unhealthy from the union. It's usually a parent/child relationship, where the parent likes to have the child constantly sick, unemployed, addicted or simply living at home past an acceptable age, but husband/wife forms are common too where it's usually an addiction or abuse situation. This is why sometimes the wife won't report abuse (see Ray/Janay Rice) because she gets something out of it too - however sick that might seem. Friends might encourage each other to do drugs or stay on welfare etc. because they're afraid of moving on so they enable each other to be losers together.
  10. I think what WCR is suggesting is that women love masculinity...just not from their husbands.
  11. I thought I was, but now I'm not so sure. Thanks WCR!
  12. If what you say is true, haven't you contradicted the idea that women are turned on by their husbands doing housework. After talking to you, It seems that we're doing housework, getting inferior sex while our women fantasize about the another guy, probably a young, viral, masculine guy. Yeah, not only unhealthy but now very manipulative.
  13. I'm lost too! And, I've read the posts
  14. Fair enough, but having a nice dinner and box of wine is something done together - as a couple. I find that much different than showing your list of daily chores and hoping she says yes.
  15. I'm not talking about feminism though, I'm discussing the dynamics of a relationship.
  16. I have no problem winning and dining - that is fair exchange in my books. I find it patronizing to get sex in exchange for doing laundry of mowing the lawn. I shouldn't be made to feel like an employee paid with sex for my services and I wouldn't have sex with wife and throw 50$ on the bed afterwards either.
  17. If one person knows they're giving sex as a reward and the other knows they had to earn it by way of doing housework, do you really think that they a having a good healthy sex life? This seems like an arrangement...a deal. This is not in any way healthy in my opinion. What is there except 2 people on their own paths getting their required orgasms. Is this what egalitarian means to you guys.
  18. If I was dating a dude who looked like a woman (and that's all it really is- pretend) I'd want to know. Would you, WCR want to know if the dude you're dating was actually just a lady-boy?
  19. If he wants to identify with being a woman - fine. I don't care. If he wants people to look at him as a gibbon, clown fish or newt, that's fine by me - it doesn't mean he is any of those things though. Even the study makes sure to stipulate that it's just a cosmetic thing to help people 'look like' the opposite sex.
  20. Jenner and that entire family are media whores. He always has been. His sickness is his inability to stay away from the spotlight. Ps I'll still say he, because he's really just a transvestite.
  21. A whopping 84% do this according to a study featured in Women's Day; 84: Percentage of women who say they have sex to get their man to help out around the house. Surprising, right? But wait for this: Sexual health experts say a little harmless "sexual bribery" in a healthy relationship is a good thing.
  22. True dat! I don't think you can get away from it though. Science has become too political.
  23. Ya know, If those dudes figure out the whole head transplant thing, we could have have a male and female swap heads and solve 2 transgender cases at once.
  24. Another thing; this isn't the source of the text that I referred to.
