That's awesome. Somehow I had a problem differentiating for a moment there. Liberals vs DoFo.
-
Now we're talking. Clear out. Sweep them away. How do you propose to do that? Send in the riot sqauds and arrest everyone in the street, perhaps? Children would all need to be put in family custody, of course. Hell, they probably weren't good parents anyway. Maybe Mr. Trudeau can get some advice from China on the matter. They have experience in suppressing uprisings as we all know. That's why, Tiananmen Now! Tiananmen Now! (You, not me)

The liberal speaks beautiful and brave

I see. Unlike liberals then? Of course not. You've got it wrong, sir. Completely and absolutely. Not that I want to hold you back in transitioning though. I don't blame you. Keep it up, grasshopper.

Not sure how many live in the core, but most of the population is outside of it. The core is mainly businesses, shops and government buildings, most of the latter being empty anyway due to coronavirus. Many government folk are still working from home, per directives by Mr. Trudeau. Shops can still be open I imagine. There are thousands of people walking around in the core, protesters and onlookers. They all need food and rest. Businesses should be doing alright. Far better than they were under government shutdowns, I'll wager.

There's a time when it's necessary to break certain laws, for example those which the government imposes to protect itself from criticism while THEY break their own laws. Conservatives would agree with that, because we believe in placing limits on government authority. There is much to learn yet, Daniel-San.
-
No, but you did yesterday, so I was pre-empting you to move the conversation along. We conservatives have long memories...

He was arrested rather violently for honking a horn. There is no speculation in that. Nazi flag is a symbol, and no one was harmed. Another warning sign of terminal liberalism is the inability to successfully differentiate on separate matters. It's like a compulsive will to "equality" or something. conservatism cures this illness by teaching us to weigh each thing by its own merits. Facten sind facten.

That's true. "So bring it on." Remember? The mere sight of it hurts the government, and Canada's reputation. Canadians are all talking about this now, and the world is watching. So taking action has consequences. You didn't learn from our little talk yesterday, did you. Anyway point is, that's exactly the insidious nature of this dilemma. It's like they've gone and thrown a wrench in the machinery. There's no way to undo without some kind of action, and choices are very limited and all bad for the government. Only one way out, Negotiate, Mr. Trudeau! And simply because I am pointing this out, doesn't mean I approve of it or have no sympathy for people living there. So don't waste my time with any of that "you really like this" stuff. That is what I call boring. Get on with it man. Makes me wonder if you're really a conservative, or just hiding from the repulsive attitudes coming from the Liberals. You are not one. Your party abandoned you, and it's time for responsible liberals to speak out. Put the monkey back in the barrel.

Yes it's true, only certain types of gear can do that, which complicates matters even more. Today we hear that quite a number of truckers in the core came with their families. Wives and children. I guess that complicates matters even more, too. Scenes of people singing and celebrating in streets, children playing. These are Canadian families. Peaceful families have come to speak out to the government. Great symbolism of old-school Canadian culture. That's why Mr. Trudeau has fear in his eyes. You can see it, he knows it. He's up against the people now, not just loud-mouthed fringe groups. Atomic Canada

Tow Truck Drivers refusing to help cops remove them bad ol trucks. Tow-truck companies refuse to haul away large trucks gridlocking Ottawa You think them tow truck drivers are onside with you, government chivatos? Hell no, we won't tow. In fact we're joining in. We ma' show, old blackface Trudeau what we think of him.

Police arrested a little old man for honking his car horn once at an intersection. Then the cops roughed him up. ”After attempting to get his identification from his wallet in the back of his minivan, Charlebois was taken down with the twisting of his arm and hand, and landed on one knee on the ground before being pressed against his van and then, with the help of a second officer, handcuffed behind his back.” This observation came from his family member: “They didn’t seem to arrest any of those big truckers like that,” No sir. Because they are feckless cowards and government chivatos. WARMINGTON: Arrested 78-year-old great-grandfather 'meant no harm' He is 4 feet tall.

He should get used to the idea of leaving.

Deceived? No, but we have danced a few times. The rest of what you said is what I am talking about. Someone needs to push back on the government, force them to address those problems. I could live with it if they at least provided help to those whose lives are affected by the so-called health measures/ shutdowns. But they don't. Time to come off that cloud, blackbird.

Only safe vaccines are safe. The unsafe ones are quickly identified as unsafe, and pulled off the market. Does that make your statement self-referencing? Yes it does. Results from the google search https://www.google.com/search?q=vaccine+injuries+deaths+-covid Note the use of the "-covid" argument. You won't find a damned thing that makes sense anymore unless you use this. Here's a good one. US Government Title 42-THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELFARE CHAPTER 6A-PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE SUBCHAPTER XIX-VACCINES Part 2-National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=granuleid:USC-prelim-title42-section300aa-14&num=0&edition=prelim I won't post the results, you can look it up. Below are some rules, describes what happens to people when they get vaccines. (b) Qualifications and aids to interpretation The following qualifications and aids to interpretation shall apply to the Vaccine Injury Table in subsection (a): (1) A shock-collapse or a hypotonic-hyporesponsive collapse may be evidenced by indicia or symptoms such as decrease or loss of muscle tone, paralysis (partial or complete), hemiplegia or hemiparesis, loss of color or turning pale white or blue, unresponsiveness to environmental stimuli, depression of consciousness, loss of consciousness, prolonged sleeping with difficulty arousing, or cardiovascular or respiratory arrest. (2) A petitioner may be considered to have suffered a residual seizure disorder if the petitioner did not suffer a seizure or convulsion unaccompanied by fever or accompanied by a fever of less than 102 degrees Fahrenheit before the first seizure or convulsion after the administration of the vaccine involved and if- (A) in the case of a measles, mumps, or rubella vaccine or any combination of such vaccines, the first seizure or convulsion occurred within 15 days after administration of the vaccine and 2 or more seizures or convulsions occurred within 1 year after the administration of the vaccine which were unaccompanied by fever or accompanied by a fever of less than 102 degrees Fahrenheit, and (B) in the case of any other vaccine, the first seizure or convulsion occurred within 3 days after administration of the vaccine and 2 or more seizures or convulsions occurred within 1 year after the administration of the vaccine which were unaccompanied by fever or accompanied by a fever of less than 102 degrees Fahrenheit. (3)(A) The term "encephalopathy" means any significant acquired abnormality of, or injury to, or impairment of function of the brain. Sounds like they can be pretty bad to me.

That's nice but you ignored the more significant claim, that government is inherently driven by polling and this means they are under influence of misinformed, frightened mob. Mandates are a natural outcome of government control-think. The most efficient one-size-fits-all solution. Ok fine, let's say I don't have a problem with it but there should be exemptions given fairly, and the punishment for not being vaccinated should be far more limited than what these people are proposing. I'm talking about the Prime Minister and premiers. Things like criminal charges, heavy fines, restriction from using public services are all out the window to me. Not acceptable forms or punishment. Really, no punitive measures should even be required, it's unacceptable. The government has no right to interfere in the health needs of Canadians, only enable it by funding. It;s a discussion that should only concern a citizen, and their personal physician. But, fail. fail fail fail. On we go.

Is Trudeau the most unCanadian Prime Minister ever?
OftenWrong replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Let's face it, none of us likes what's going on in Canada, actually for years now. There was a vision of what is Canadian starting to coalesce out of the fog of confederation. That was a people who tolerated others and accepted their presence in the community, but as Canadians with similar like-minded values of course. Those values are broad in general and support a society through law. It's a nation. If there is anything we are, it should be about that. That's why what Mr. Trudeau has been saying, along with several premiers in this country is antithesis of Canadian culture itself. There is only one person to blame when he himself speaks openly about not tolerating others. He wants me to not tolerate. This is coming from the highest level of government, the top man in Canada. That is why he is un-Canadian. He is a national disgrace and should be forced to step down. Let the name of JT be stricken from every book, removed from every wall and monument. -
I have not donated to the trucker convoy yet, though it's an interesting idea. But then, I see how many millions they are getting per day and I only have few bucks, so no. Yes, exactly. My comment illustrates what is going on in the minds of some who are stuck at home with their lives on hold. I am not one of those, however. Covid is merely an inconvenience for me. Covid restrictions may not be uncomfortable for you, but it's selfish to believe everyone is able to do as well as you are doing under covid. It's not true. Get the facts. Understand why people are upset with the Prime Minister. You're welcome to learn from this wonderful forum, where you will hear more truth about what's going on than you would otherwise, maybe anywhere else. And some lies, of course. Sorta like the bible...

The notion of insisting on low risk is problematic. It's a slippery slope. There are some personality types that would never feel safe enough. While your demand for safety may decrease your misery, psychological fretting about what ifs, it can and does increase the misery of others who now fret over not "what ifs", but what the have lost. That's a whole different problem, and far worse than speculative fear over what-ifs. We know that kids need to go to school, and they need to interact socially to become normal human beings. We know, with some certainty that these mandates have resulted in suffering for some groups, deterministically, while the use of mandate and quarantine can only be assessed stochastically. And the numbers don't look too good these days. So that argument should be out the window, but for the fact there are so many who don't understand these things but given a collective voice. Your fear and lack of knowledge on these issues shouldn't be driving government policy, but it does. Which is exactly why the government shouldn't have the authority.

I heard they're now making $2M/ day in donations on this shit. That's almost double what it earned under gofundme. They may have bolstered people's resolve and they're gonna donate even more now. It's easy to do on a keyboard. Especially when you're sitting at home all day with nothin to do, bored, pissed off that your life sucks now because of Covid. A couple of quick mouse clicks and you're done! That's protesting!

Is Trudeau the most unCanadian Prime Minister ever?
OftenWrong replied to West's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It's a truly reprehensible thing to say. I think it shocked most Canadians, those that heard it. With his hate speech, Mr. Trudeau has blackened his own reputation. Besmirched himself. Stained his legacy. Besmeared his image, with a black stain. So to the OP's question, I daresay yes. Hella yes. -
What Huxley said. You mentioned his name the other day. To paraphrase: "In the future governments will learn that the best way to achieve totalitarian rule is for the people to want to be ruled. Surely fear plays a big role in that. Plus the feeling that the problem is so huge that we as individuals are powerless. Only the government can help. But let's look who the ones are that like this government mandate stuff. I say they are the lazy and soft. Like Army Guy said, don't disturb my right to watch TV. But the folks who are out there on the Hill are not lazy and soft. Freezing their azzes off, yes. Hungry and needing a bath, maybe. But not lazy...

Yep. Too bad that's what it takes, because you also create more insufferable dunderheads when doing that. As we see now... a bible-thumper Omni.
