And is not the population inhabiting our planet earth screwing up the delicate geology with planet earth? So, because Tuvalu, a small island in the south pacific, that no one has really heard of, they make no difference in the big picture even though families who inhabit this island are impacted by global warming. How do we explain to them that they have to relocate to a bigger island because sorry, we burned too many fossel fuels for them to survive on their own island. -

There are many nations in the south pacific who do not have the money to build these seawalls that you speak of. Have a look at Tuvalu.

I would like to hear your thoughts on these matters Big Guy. You initiate these topics but I don't see you taking a stand. It would add some dynamics to the conversation if you could add your own personal thoughts. It's great that you are encouraging topics to discuss but perhaps you could state your opinion at the beginning.

An 11 year old child who has delusions of Jesus Christ visiting her and telling her it's ok to refuse chemo is not mature and does not have the capacity to determine what's best for her.

If the parents of a child refuse treatment that can save the child's life (and I'm pretty sure this is what is happening), the child will be taken into custody. It's pretty straightforward as to what will happen. There are many precedents where this has occurred in Canada.

We are talking about a child. If the parents refuse treatment, the child will be taken into custody if the health care providers determine chemo will save her life.

So, this Police Commissioner from a predominantly white New Hampshire town was overheard saying he doesn't watch tv because all he sees is the 'N-word President'. Granted, he is allowed to say whatever he wants, but he should be held accountable. Residents of his town are calling for his resignation but he is refusing. The population consists of 1% black and there are no black people on the police force or any other race for that matter. We can only hope that the townsfolk are successful in demanding his resignation. Here is an article relating to this.
