  1. Another post where you re-write what is said, giving it your own special warped slant and quibbling about words, all while ignoring and refusing to address the actual point made in the posts. I'm not responding to your insults and warped re-wordings anymore. Go cry to Charles again, while you consistently insult and name-call others.

  2. The 'gotcha' attempts around here are terrible. Weak arguments, weak replies, insults, ect, ect. I read many of the posts and cannot understand them because they are delivered terribly. It's part of the reason I don't post as often. There is simply no way to reply to much of what is posted here.

  3. Listening to what AOC will say, how utterly dense she is, how confident she is in her beliefs and the amount of people either in love with her or in fear of her, I gotta admit, I think she is the the most dangerous person in the USA right now.

  4. Socialism is alive in well in the USA. Ask the banks how much they got back in 2008. And endless cash flow for wars benefiting the Military Industrial Complex contractors. Don't ever tell me there is NO socialism in the USA.

  5. Lmao. What a moronic interpretation. That's why I say that your posts are infantile. OMG. People can start war against you. Do things that make war necessary. But you can't fight back then or you're the guilty party? Dude that's not even remotely related to the sentences above. Are you high? Yeah ok GH. You're 100% wrong about everything else but you were just testing me that time lol. Nations just operate in whatever conditions exist I guess. That's right. It's ridiculous to say "we can buy their oil instead of extracting our own, but we can't sell them weapons. We need to let them buy their weapons from NoKo, Russia or China." Again, you answer is a total non sequitur. It's like you're talking about something else entirely.

  6. But there was a few clerics scattered through 3 of those 50 Muslim states who agreed that terrorism was bad, so.....problem solved. Why do you keep harping on it? Having thought about "interpretation" as discussed here, I wonder why Maroacc would assert that there is no interpretations in Islam, when there clearly is. I think the lack of any authoritative source of doctrinal interpretation, instead of inviting democratic and egalitarian interpretations and behaviours, has just given extremists the power of interpretation and the influence to promote their views. It could be that there are "unofficial" hierarchies within Islam - Saudi Arabia clearly leads the rest of the Muslim world in determining what is "islamic doctrine" and its done a very poor job of it. I find it difficult to believe that the majority of Muslims are rejecting what the Saudis are dishing out to them, under the weight of its influence and money. If they were rejecting Saudi interpretations of Islam, they would not be bowing to its influence and taking its money anywhere in the West (or in the world, if it's true that the vast majority of Muslims reject the violent interpretations). I don't see this happening. It's a tough sell to say that the majority of Muslims reject the violent Saudi interpretations - while at the same time, they are enjoying its political influence and accepting its money.

  7. Review info and sources, and provide your own sources, and rationale. Just saying "no because I said so" isn't sufficient. Lol

  10. Any faith that rewards dying in the name of Allah/God/Jupiter/Gilgamesh is a death cult to me. That it isn't to you shows how far you're willing to serve Islam. And believe me...you serve.

  11. Do you even have a clue what you're reading? The Rep Congressman just said that the border detention centers are overwhelmed. That's a fact, not an indictment. They're only overwhelmed because of the left's past and current actions/statements. Again, that's a fact, not an accusation. The AP's opinion is politically-motivated and stupid. Hence your appreciation of their quote.

  12. Saudi Arabia has the biggest pocketbooks of any nation on earth. They will get weapons from Canada, China, the US, NoKo, France, GB, Russia, Germany or wherever else. It's completely inevitable. Do you think that you can somehow relegate SA to an eternity of demilitarization when they're sitting on a cash cow? You're partly right when you say "neither are acceptable", but at a time when SA was getting along reasonably well with the rest of the world and they wanted to buy weapons we made a deal that they could buy weapons from us. It happened more than 3 years ago. At what point do you back out of a deal? Do you have proof that the war in Yemen shouldn't be going on? As per part two of that, of course we shouldn't be taking in terrorists but the left is in power right now and that's what they do. It's the ultimate power move in the world of virtue-signalling. You're the one who didn't know that. You could thank me for the clarification of you want. Wrong. You have such an infantile understanding of things. There are hundreds of people all making critical decisions in the theatre of war, in a matter of minutes or even seconds. When the flight profile of an airplane matches the attacking-flight profile of a fighter jet and they don't answer their radio they force people to make tough decisions. In this case, as with almost every recent man-made catastrophe, there was a series of flaws involving human error (did the flight crew really just neglect to listen to their radio in a militarized zone? Is that a thing that pilots sometimes do?) which all conspired to put one person in a position to make a critical decision. It's impossible to stop things like that from happening. One idea that you lefties might want to kick around in your little echo chamber - how do you reconcile the two options of: 1) leaving all of our oil in the ground and getting all the oil we need from the middle east and 2) despising the middle eastern countries so much that we can't sell them weapons..... Do you guys realize that the people on earth with the money get to buy the weapons? Do you realize how much worse off we would be economically if we had left all of our own oil in the ground and imported all of our energy this whole time? We wouldn't be bargaining or debating with other countries, we would be begging. Your talking points are all literally garbage.

  13. I thought you wouldn't have spent more than five minutes reading the over 200,000 hadiths. Which shows in you quoting the least likely to be misunderstood and the least insinuating of violence. You could have done so much better. I'll help you with the word jihad. "The Arabic word "jihad" is often translated as "holy war," but in a purely linguistic sense, the word " jihad" means struggling or striving. The arabic word for war is: "al-harb". In a religious sense, as described by the Quran and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (s), "jihad" has many meanings. It can refer to internal as well as external efforts to be a good Muslims or believer, as well as working to inform people about the faith of Islam. If military jihad is required to protect the faith against others, it can be performed using anything from legal, diplomatic and economic to political means. If there is no peaceful alternative, Islam also allows the use of force, but there are strict rules of engagement. Innocents - such as women, children, or invalids - must never be harmed, and any peaceful overtures from the enemy must be accepted. Military action is therefore only one means of jihad, and is very rare. To highlight this point, the Prophet Mohammed told his followers returning from a military campaign: "This day we have returned from the minor jihad to the major jihad," which he said meant returning from armed battle to the peaceful battle for self-control and betterment. In case military action appears necessary, not everyone can declare jihad. The religious military campaign has to be declared by a proper authority, advised by scholars, who say the religion and people are under threat and violence is imperative to defend them. The concept of "just war" is very important. The concept of jihad has been hijacked by many political and religious groups over the ages in a bid to justify various forms of violence. In most cases, Islamic splinter groups invoked jihad to fight against the established Islamic order. Scholars say this misuse of jihad contradicts Islam. Examples of sanctioned military jihad include the Muslims' defensive battles against the Crusaders in medieval times, and before that some responses by Muslims against Byzantine and Persian attacks during the period of the early Islamic conquests." http://www.islamicsupremecouncil.org/understanding-islam/legal-rulings/5-jihad-a-misunderstood-concept-from-islam.html?start=9

  17. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/refugees/help-within-canada/health-care/interim-federal-health-program/coverage-summary.html "Refugee claimants" who are in Canada waiting a year or more to have their claim for refugee status heard, are given basic health care through a federal program similar to what welfare recipients get. We don't let people suffer or die in Canada without some health care services. This isn't Trump land.

  19. The question is: Do you? In Islam it is virtuous to lie to the kafir to promote victory of Islam over all others in der welt. I view Islam as little more than Nazism as a religion. I'd post one of the many attacks Islam made on freedom and decency this week...but as I mentioned...it's pointless arguing with ideologues. You supporters like Islam just the way it is.

  21. It sucks to put it bluntly, at least in Ontario. I have a year long wait to see an ortho specialist... at least another year wait if he wants to operate. Hallway healthcare, people dying in emerg etc. etc Time to allow private insurance and private practice alongside the current system.
