The "lying" happened after the investigation began, so what that say's is that they haven't actually found a legitimate crime. IOW, without the investigation there is really only one potential crime and it has nothing to do with Trump. After one full year, dozens of investigators and millions of dollars spent, Mueller should be embarrassed. He's clearly gonna double down and stay with it until he has at least something, maybe it will be 10, 15 or 30 people indicted for lying - who knows, but they clearly have nothing on Trump.

I said I care about deficits, not specifically US deficits. US deficits are only worrying to the extent they reveal a country without proper governance on our borders, and one liable to deteriorate in future to a state of economic chaos when the debt servicing costs begins to really heavily impact their ability to pay for government services. Guess how much money the US government paid out in debt service fees for 2017. Would you believe $276 billion? Be kinda nice to be able to spend that on things like infrastructure, wouldn't it? So what happens when it reaches $500 billion a year? A trillion a year? I'd rather not be living with a well-armed Mexico on our border.

Not sure why we are even discussing the military option here which is "Option Impossible". It was said economic and political pressure. Economic pressure on a bankrupt regime who is using oil revenue for self preservation while the people live in poverty. Political pressure by condemning acts of brutality and suppression of defenseless on streets and in jails. There is NO military option. It is up to Iranians to achieve this democracy by themselves for themselves and only with help from democratic countries and as was said that help must come in the shape of economic and political pressure. Touching...but you would have a lot more credibility by spending more MLW energy on domestic "human rights" policies (e.g. First Nations) than obsessing on what Israel and other nations are doing. Make Canada (and yourself) better first....
