BubberMiley Posted April 24, 2007 Author Report Posted April 24, 2007 The policy in Iraq hasn't changed since 1991, just the body count. Is it OK to bomb Iraqis as long as American troops are not dying from IEDs? Changing the subject does not make the emails reappear. bush_cheney2004 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Changing the subject does not make the emails reappear. ...or jdobbin's post. Email is so much more compelling than dead Americans in Iraq! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
ScottSA Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Is no one going to educate me as to the serious nature of this criminal endeavor? Link? Anyone? Must I do everyone's googling for them? http://www.archives.gov/presidential-libra...s/1978-act.html Well, thanks, but that doesn't begin to address the issue. That law deals with presidential and Vice presidential records. Can you one point me to a law dealing with this no doubt dastardly breach of the law? Quote

ScottSA Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 The emails were presidential records. The link you gave me deals exclusively with records of correspondence by the president personally, and the vice president personally. Quote

Here is CREW's interpretation of PRA, but nobody needs to pack their bags. jdobbin Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 The policy in Iraq hasn't changed since 1991, just the body count. That's why I call the policy in Iraq incompetent. Quote

Also, the legal restrictions include all presidential staff, which is why the Senate Judicial Committee is investigating it. If you know something they don't, I'm sure they'd like to know. bush_cheney2004 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 That's why I call the policy in Iraq incompetent. Perhaps you had/have a better idea? I hope it is better than the one Canada had for Rwanda. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
jdobbin Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Perhaps you had/have a better idea? I hope it is better than the one Canada had for Rwanda. My idea is that Americans should make sure the Republicans don't get the White House next time around. Quote
BubberMiley Posted April 24, 2007 Author Report Posted April 24, 2007 I hope it is better than the one Canada had for Rwanda. Canada didn't manufacture the clusterfuck in Rwanda. Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
bush_cheney2004 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Canada didn't manufacture the clusterfuck in Rwanda. That was the point...Canada didn't "manufacture" a solution either. The UN provided plenty of "clusterfuque". What about that pressing e-mail scandal? Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
BubberMiley Posted April 24, 2007 Author Report Posted April 24, 2007 Not much to say, other than they broke the law and don't even bother to defend themselves. Once we've agreed that my character is questionable, your arguments hold no weight and you've got nothing... Guthrie Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 ...The policy in Iraq hasn't changed since 1991,... above is a joke in need of a punch line except for the illegal invasion, illegal occupation, illegal torture, illegal use of WMD against civilians and $3/4 Trillion stolen tax dollars, other than that, and the cat dying, ain't nothin new. jdobbin Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Uhh...OK...we all know that non-Republicans in the White House means peace and goodwill towards all men. We certainly know that the Republicans in the White House mean just under two more years of war in Iraq. Quote

Good thing the Americans took care of the above when they took out Saddam, who knows what he'd be up to by now! except Americans didn't take care of those things --- the Buschistas made those things American policy they really should answer to an international tribunal -- the Buschistas have butchered many times the human beings Saddam did Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD
bush_cheney2004 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 We certainly know that the Republicans in the White House mean just under two more years of war in Iraq. There will be "war" in Iraq regardless of which American political party owns the White House. President Bush will be gone in January 2009....not so American foreign policy for the region, which also pre-dates Bush by many years. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
BubberMiley Posted April 24, 2007 Author Report Posted April 24, 2007 When are they lying and when are they honest...when you say so? No, I've already explained. I'm nobody. The Senate Judiciary Committee will say so. They will likely look at the facts, and this thread shows that when the facts are presented, they are inexcusable. BubberMiley Posted April 24, 2007 Author Report Posted April 24, 2007 There will be "war" in Iraq regardless of which American political party owns the White House. Of course there will. The current admin started this whole mess with absolutely no game plan for ending it. They've created a situation that will take generations to fix, if it ever gets fixed at all. It's not exactly a legacy to be proud of. Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
Jerry Galinda Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 [-- the Buschistas have butchered many times the human beings Saddam did Saddam - about 1 million victims of war with Iran. Who force Shiites to kill Sunnis ? Who force to kill innocent people in e.g. Algerie - more than 100.000 victims of islamic extremists ! Don't forget about Darfour and Ah the smell of Islamic interference! How refreshing! BTW. Why muslims supported Nazis (e.g. in Egypt) ? Attacks of suicide bombers kill ordinary people – children, women, peasants and so on. What for ??? Quote
Guthrie Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 actually, the war in Iraq will end, no matter who wins the WH -- no one is going to continue Bush's War - neither party wants to be tainted by the lies and criminal acts of the Buschistas -- the difference in the WH will be seen in how many Buschistas go to jail Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD

That's fine, but let's not hear any more sobbing about the plight of the poor Iraqis. Obviously you don't care. The best thing that could happen to them would be to be colonized all over again to see whether teaching them table manners sticks the second time around. Quote
