Hi,

I would like to post some messages in French...Is this website for all Canadians? I see Quebec as part of Canada....a French province...that's it. To me, all provinces make up Canada. We are Canada and not the U.S or another country....I speak French and would like to post in French when I can...As you know federally speaking, we are officially bilingual....

August et Charles Anthony utilisent francais parfois. J'utiliserai le francais aussi parfois, mais seulement temps a temps.

Cela a dit, c'est un forum anglais. Je limite mon usage francais aux sujets de francais ou Quebec. Aussi, mon francais n'est pas bon, je semble comme un idiot la plupart du temps.

Beaucoup de forums en francais existent si vous exigez quelque debat francais. Ce n'est pas un d'eux.

Im trying to learn german now as well. whats funny about my french is i can understand what your writing, even if i dont get some of the words i know enough to understand whats being talked about so go for it, and ill just sort it out!

I, like moderateamerican, can read this thread and understand what is being said, but to actually compose any post of my own in comprehensible French would be trop difficile pour moi to say the least.

Certainly doesn't mean those of you who do speak French should not post French threads.

I certainly don't have a problem with anyone posting messages in French, as it appears there are a number of you who can speak French.

I've never really pushed to have a French language section of the forums due to the fact that I can't speak French. Moderation would be difficult if problems arise as I would need to have someone translate the thread. However, I'm open to giving it a shot,

Sacre Bleu! Perhaps I am paranoid, but this thread was likely started by our troll. For one, a 'french person' would likely have posted 'en francais' and judged whether or not they would like to have stayed on by the responses. Secondly, they wrote in very reasonable english. No syntax errors, etc. that both humans and translation services are prone to.
