If the 'outcome' is simply re-opening the Strait and a deferment on the 'dust' question, then what is the gain. 

If anything, Iran has been empowered with the demonstration of their ability to close Hormuz. 

The strategy of interceptors worth millions, used to engage drones worth 10K is asinine.
