The proposed Bill C-9 clearly states: Hatred means an emotion of intense and extreme nature that is clearly associated with vilification and detestation; (haine)

 

 Being disgusted with someone's actions and being infuriated with someone's ignorance is not hatred so this definition is clearly rubbish. Plain and simple.

 

 This is absurd that they attempt such and based upon a phony definition to try and put a muzzle on citizens who have every right to voice their concerns as well share with other Canadians what is going on. It is not the citizens raising concerns that leads to inciting hatred or violence, it is the actions that the citizens are sharing awareness of that leads to inciting hatred or violence. This government wants to defecate upon citizens with lies and deceptions then try to put the blame on citizens for raising awareness to their actions as what the problem is.

 

 This bill is infuriating, disgusting and completely absurd! I urge you to never pass such rubbish as Bill C-9 Upper House of Senators.

 

 Just a side note: my computer and all of my stuff was recently stolen so I might not be weighing in much and days to come but had to get this out there due to a bunch of compulsive obsessive liars trying to force their lies through legislation yet again!

Wtf I just did a multi response from my iPhone and posted it only to find my response disappeared so I guess I’ll respond individually.

 

 The cops evicted me from the spot I had my tent in all winter. I took what I needed and they threw out the rest. The very next day my stuff was stolen at the bus terminal.

Hatred and vilification are entirely different things: hatred is a thing (noun), vilification is an action (verb).

The two even have entirely different connotations...

• You can have a great reason for hating something, eg cancer, and stating negative facts about something is never vilification: eg cancer kills people.
• Vilification is always slander. The two words are synonymous. If you aren't lying, you aren't vilifying.
