Because your head is stuck in the sand maybe...how many trillions need to be wasted before you do comment or as you say bit$h about it....or perhaps the liberals can burn money at this rate but god forgive us if that have been conservatives doing it, would you bit$h then ?

I think every tax payer should be holding the government accountable regardless of who is in power....and bit%h loudly , enough for things to change...

And you're near the top of the daily cry me a river list.  What a life it must be...

You're telling me that someone who posts 3 pages of the same repetitive comment isn't a psycho?

Every tax payer can and should hold the government accountable if they choose to, but you and your band of complainers obviously still enjoy crying about Trudeau despite him being gone for a year.  Bîtch away.... depending on the mood I'll either continue laughing at you, or continue to shake my head.

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

Linkie: "$ Trillion, Shmillion. Stop crying. Carney (Trudeau's economic advisor and the new PM, who helped us lose $1T in investment) is an economist with a degree from Oxford. I'm sure he has a plan, he just refuses to tell anyone what it is, while he spends money like it's going out of style. Stop being so ignorant."

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Not 3 pages, 1 post. And I copied and pasted that, I didn't type it all out you simpleton.

FYI the person who read an RBC report illustrating how the LPoC chased $1T in investment away from our country, and then decided to try to change the topic to "how much I dislike a post in this thread!", is the actual psycho.

No, he's the guy who clicked 11,386 down-arrow votes last week and only wrote 7 posts.

Where do you see 3 pages?

For me, this whole thread is one full page and about 1/3rd of another.

If there's a real problem here, it's that your beloved LPoC chased so much investment money away that when I wrote it all down as a collection of $1Billion chunks, it took 3 full pages.

Lol... you do it well AG, and good to know life is good!

I can clearly see this country needs a lot of fixes, and why we voted for a new PM.  Hopefully he's the guy to do that... if not we find someone else in a few years.

Lol...  2 pages then.   Either way, still psycho behaviour.

So we lost that investment but can't do much about that other than attracting new investment, which we did last year with the most since 2015.  Have to start somewhere....

You voted in a new PM because the OLD PM that YOU voted in ran off with his tail between his legs after running the country into the ground following the advice of .... the 'new' PM.

If insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result, you people are bat crap crazy ;)

Yeah but......

Outlook: Despite the 2025 surge, economists note that a significant portion was M&A rather than greenfield investment (new projects), and Canada still faces a "capital exodus" crisis that requires further growth to address.

The only thing I've 'complained' about with the Conservative Party is the leader, and not sure you can even call that a complaint.  And yes, I will continue to laugh (or ignore) at the never ending crying...

The Detroit Lions lost the NFC championship game a couple years ago that they had in the bag, until they didn't....   I'm done crying about it though.  You clowns and the Trudeau years.... not so much.

You're so mixed up with your lefties, liberals, Trudeaus and Carney's that a liberal could solve world hunger, homelessness and find a cure for cancer all in the same day and you sorry fools would still find something to complain about it.

Who better to make up that trillion dollar loss than the guy who helped us lose it all, right?

  1. FYI the only reason that Canada looks good to some investors now is because 1) our dollar is so weak, and 2) people are assuming that after 10 straight years of losing, losing, losing, and losing a lot more, we finally hit rock-bottom.
  2. And in case you hadn't noticed, the LPoC policies that cost us the majority of that money are still Carney's highest priorities... Well, aside from cancelling freedom of speech, maybe. So, we're still going with the faied policies that lost us that money.

You're like a chicken farmer who's got a broken-egg problem, but he refuses to fire the one-armed dropout from the juggling academy.

I helped vote in the old PM in2015, not since, and couldn't be happier that he ran away.

The new PM is a lightyear ahead in economic and business acumen of any alternative we had, so the best (and only) choice for the country, which the vast majority agree with.

That would make sense if you noticed the problems while they were occurring, but you didn't... You were oblivious. You just learned it here in this thread. (FYI conservatives, like me, knew that this was going to be a huge problem for Canada back when Trudeau was still just running for election the first time, and you're only finding out now, after he served 3 terms and Carney is a year in)

Back to your football analogy: if you were sitting here this whole time thinking that by scoring 31 points, the Lions beat the 49ers, who scored 34 points, and I had to tell you today that "34 is more than 31, and that the team with the highest score wins, so Det actually lost", then your knowledge of football would equal your knowledge of politics.

Yeah, we lost almost everything that we had going for us during the Trudeau years, and Carney's policies are a continuation of Trudeau's policies. In fact, Carney was an advisor to sock-boy. So FYI we aren't just sitting here whining about the past, we're telling you how bad things are with Carney TODAY, and how bad they will continue to be under Carney. And that IS worth crying about, because some of us have kids and grandkids who are inheriting this mess.

The only clowns are those who keep voting for the same.

Cite what advice was given from Carney to Trudeau and acted on.

Only in your simple mind would you see Carney as Trudeau as the same.

They worked together, Trudeau considered Carney's advice good, and Trudeau never changed anything for the better based on Carney's advice or we would have noticed, and Carney re-hired Trudeau's cabinet.

Canadians, collectively, just shit our pants for ten years straight and then changed our shirt.

It was Carney's idea for Trudeau to continue to be a greasy loser, which he did, so that Carney would fit right in after he got appointed.

It was all detailed in the memo that you can find here: www.linkisSOdumbhewillclickthis.com/whaddaret4rdheis

Brookfield has received $9.5 billion in Canadian taxpayer money since 2020, when Carney started "advising" Trudeau.

$903M printed by the Bank of Canada to buy Enbridge bonds — while Brookfield was acquiring Enbridge's $4.31B Western midstream pipeline.

$3.0B in Brookfield senior notes at 2.34% — rates only possible because of $440B in QE.

$365M in federal contracts (BGRS relocations + direct BAM awards).

$1.3B BGIS sale after a federal property-management contract base built on taxpayer dollars.

$3.5B+ in nine documented CPP → Brookfield deals (2005–present).

Feb 27, 2026: the CPP Investment Board signs an MOU with Brookfield to jointly build a 1,000-MW data center in Alberta. The Prime Minister's former company is now a joint landlord on what analysts expect to be the largest AI infrastructure project in Western Canada.
