Thats right my Canadian friends.

The United States customs and border patrol now requires you hand over your electronic devices ( phones, smart watches, tablets) if requested before you will be allowed into the U.S.

This is what the U.S. has become.

Our Constitution? Donald could give a f_ck less.

Now, I cant wait to hear the absurd excuses the red hats on this forum will drum up.

Don't go there. Like many of us.

Same for going to Canada. They do this to. They will also hassle you about not stealing their jobs and interrogate you.

Yeah, right. They wave 99% of people through. Scan your license plate, maybe look at your papers and you're on your way. Either way.
Onvious you've never crossed your northern border.

Of course they do get uniforms, and those jobs attract more arseholes than others.

Same in the US.

But you clowns want to fear-monger and use edge cases to spite America because you hate Trump.

I have come to Canada many times as well as for work, and I have to bring a letter from my company stating how we promise, really really promise, that I am not "working" in Canada and everything I am doing is being done by Canadians and I am just there to say hello and then the customs guys interrogate me on what I do for a living demanding to know that I will not be doing any of that in Canada as they detain my consultant for hours because he needed the letter from his consultant company, because mine was not good enough for him.

You are so damn ignorant, I know more about your own damn country than you do.

As usual, you can’t argue the facts, just cry about people who are ignorant being called ignorant.

I'm not arguing the facts.  I know that Canadian Border services can search devices for people coming in.  You're not wrong about that.

That doesn't make you less of a MAGA assclown, nor make it any less funny to watch donkeys like you call anyone else ignorant.

Slurp Slurp...

So, I am right, they are ignorant, you just want to cry about me calling them that in the same breath you call me a MAGA assclown.

You were right about Canada being able to search devices, but nobody even disputed that.  🤡

If you don't like being called a MAGA assclown, stop laughably supporting (almost) every stupid thing your embarrassing fool of a president does and says.

What was the point of this thread?

I never complained about the name calling, as I get this forum is mostly a mud pit, I was just pointing out that you are a two faced hypocritical cry baby.

Don't go there. Like many of us.

There’s an even easier fix than that. Don’t want your phones checked? 51st. Look who is obstinate.

They can look at mine and boot me out over all the anti-Trump memes.
I'd be more interested in pissing them off and wasting their time than visiting there.

Over commercialized cement and plastic zoo AFAIC. Rather visit Yukon or NWT anyways,

LOL, of course. You probably have pictures of Trump all over your home too. He lives rent-free in your head.

You didn't complain about the ArriveCan app [and its 10,000+ erroneous quarantine orders], frozen bank accounts, the police stealing gas from Canadians, the gesundheitspass, Canadians being forced to take a partially trialled jab that they didn't need and which was already proven to not be preventing the spread of covid, etc.

But the US Gov't wants to collect info about people crossing into their country from our pro-terrorism country and that's too much for you 🤣

This whole thread was started based on an onion of ignorance, so many layers to peel back.

An interesting development:

https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/article/us-government-wants-google-to-share-data-on-unidentified-canadian-trump-critic/

I think this move will attract a lot of attention in Europe and elsewhere. Can US companies be trusted with customer data any more if their government is unwilling to accept criticism of the leader? Another obvious question: do some sub poenas forbid US companies from disclosing such actions to the target? The fact that they are also going after credit card information brings up the vulnerability of anybody who uses US systems like Visa.

Is this a serious question? you're asking whether data can be secured... with one of the five eyes members... yeah okay.

Yes, I’d like to know under what circumstances that is done beyond reasonable concerns for national security. Otherwise US digital service companies cannot be trusted anywhere.
