Popular Post gatomontes99 Posted April 3 Popular Post Report Posted April 3 (edited) This is precisely the point MLK Jr was making in his "I have a dream" speech. This is the point that Morgan Freeman was making in this video: The goal has always been eliminating the perception of difference between races. The problem is, some people think we need to highlight those differences in the name of equality. An oxymoronic thought process that the left cannot seem to find the irony in. The more we celebrate people based on their inconsequential traits the more we accentuate stereo types and tropes. We are human. Hair color, eye color and skin color are nothing more than descriptors on an id. card. Edited April 3 by gatomontes99 4 2 Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?
herbie Posted April 3 Report Posted April 3 Why would you assume anyone asking that question would be a leftist? Why aren't you snivelling about NASA and their DEI politics as per usual? 1 Quote

But enough let's drop the left/right BS in regards to space science/ Even if Trump wants to cut $4.5 billion next year from NASA's budget it's not a left/right issue it's just a shitty decision. Discuss the science. Like leaving out a couple lunar orbits done because they were so far behind schedule the had to go with what they had just to DO something to show some progress to the public? Would including dropping off a far side lander and relay satellite have added to the value of the mission? Quote

I would say the approach is appropriate because they are test-flying a new capsule. New rockets too. Check it out...report on things like response...life support...you know...the details. herbie Posted April 4 Report Posted April 4 It's only obvious to someone so stubborn they simply refuse to observe the world they live in and learn different. Anyone could ask how the choice of a crew was made. Usually by needed skills and seniority in the program, often to stir public interest. Quote

None of the Marines were the subjects of internal investigations that might raise concerns about moving forward with their promotions, Reality: Pete Hegseth has intervened in military promotions for more than a dozen senior officers He is targeting people that were Biden era policy defenders as well. Over 12 (12 is a dozen) and because 3 might be in a class you want to cry about does not make his actions racist or sexist. It just makes you a dumbasṣ for not checking for the whole story and believing the liberal lies that the legacy media give you. 1 Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

There are tons of promotions going on for women and black people... did Hegseth stop them all? No. Of course not. Yet, he is a racist or sexist because he intervened in whatever small percentage he did? Was he a racist or sexist for firing the white member of the Joint Chiefs this last week?! OOPS, guess not, he was white! There goes the narrative. 1 Quote
