Oh i couldn't agree more AI Overview Relentlessly obsessing over another person’s online post count, follower count, or engagement metrics often indicates that the observer is struggling with their own insecurity, jealousy, or a need for control . This behavior frequently stems from a desire to compare, social competition, or a distorted, competitive view of social media where numbers are wrongly equated with personal worth or social status. According to experts and psychological observations of online behavior, this type of obsession may suggest several underlying issues: Deep-Rooted Insecurity and Comparison: The obsession is rarely about the numbers themselves but about the person's own insecurities, often resulting from social comparison theory where one compares their life to another's digital metrics. The "Validation Trap": If the observer is also trying to grow their own profile, they may use another person's metrics as a benchmark for their own worth, leading to obsession when they fall short, as numbers can become a "drug" requiring higher levels to feel satisfied. A "Vacuum" in Real Life: Intense monitoring of another person's online activity can suggest a lack of purpose, passion, or meaningful engagement in the observer's own life. It is a form of displacement, where energy is poured into a virtual, controllable situation to avoid facing real-world issues. Compulsive Behavior and Rumination: Relentlessly checking or analyzing someone else's activity can be a sign of a compulsion, often associated with a need to resolve doubts or anxieties, sometimes linked to obsessive-compulsive tendencies or "relationship OCD," where the person feels a need for certainty about the target's actions. Parasocial/Predatory Dynamics: If the obsession is focused on a specific, non-reciprocal target, it can lean into what is described as "person-focused obsession" or a parasocial relationship, which can become predatory or, in more extreme cases, reflect a desire for control. In essence, such behavior often points to a "mental emptiness" and an unhealthy, addictive need for digital validation, rather than genuine interest in the person being monitored. Sounds like you two have some issues to work out Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Had better start running."

You constantly obsess over it. Nobody else brings it up. Many others have pointed out how weird it is you do. But every single time you lose an arugment you obsess over it Which is pretty much every time we talk. Would you say that's because of your compulsive behavior issues or the vacuum in your life? Just curious. And carney still didn't hit is 2 percent with new spending. Sorry. I know he's disappointing you and you're DESPERATE to change that channel but that's ANOTHER fact you'll have to learn to cope with Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Had better start running."

A wise man said (in previous post): Too funny! This AI search works pretty darned good doesn't it... I guess that old sage was right: "the mirror of ridicule is a reflection of he who first gazes upon it." Here's what it has to say about excessive down voting: Excessive downvoting can polarize communities, silence minority views, foster echo chambers, and push people toward more extreme rhetoric. It may also reflect underlying traits like high ideological certainty, low tolerance for ambiguity, strong in-group identification, or higher trait anger. Over time, downvoting can become an automatic response to certain cues (keywords, usernames) rather than considered judgment. Edited April 1 by Venandi 1 1 Quote

It's the badge of shame and sadness you wear every time you try to call anyone else here a loser. Like everything else you say on this forum, you insisting on it doesn't make it "accurate". I fed the AI data. You fed the AI your butthurt. 😭 Quote "A man is no more entitled to an opinion for which he cannot account than he is for a pint of beer for which he cannot pay" - Anonymous

There's no humor in your posts if anything there's anger and resentment That must be this part: Parasocial/Predatory Dynamics: If the obsession is focused on a specific, non-reciprocal target, it can lean into what is described as "person-focused obsession" or a parasocial relationship, which can become predatory or, in more extreme cases, reflect a desire for control. It sounds like your person-focused obsession with me is becoming a parasocial relationship. Is that because you feel like you have no control? Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Were you talking to your mirror? I noted you behaved a certain way and you seem to be agreeing with me, but in an odd fashion. You're not having one of your 'episodes' are you? And carney still didn't raise actual military spending to 2 percent Sowwweee.... But cry harder, maybe it'll help Quote "That which doesn't kill me... Had better start running."
