Seems more like tabloid trash and members of congress sexually harassing her Reports are that it is common knowledge among DHS staff cause they don't really try to hide it. Quote Based on reporting from The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and other outlets in early 2026, there are widespread reports regarding an alleged romantic affair between Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and her senior advisor, Corey Lewandowski. These reports indicate that the relationship is considered an "open secret" or "worst-kept secret" within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and among DC insiders. The Daily Beast +4 "Do Little to Hide It": Sources told The Wall Street Journal and other outlets that Noem and Lewandowski have made little effort to hide their closeness within the department. "Worst-Kept Secret": A FEMA official described the alleged relationship as the "worst-kept secret in D.C.". Observations within DHS: According to a forthcoming book by NBC News reporter Julia Ainsley, which quotes anonymous DHS sources, a Customs and Border Protection official who regularly interacted with the pair stated, "They don't hide it". Allegations of Favoritism and Influence: Reports claim Lewandowski, as a "special government employee," wielded "unchecked power" at DHS, which, along with their behavior, caused tension with the White House. Denials: Both Noem and Lewandowski have previously denied the allegations of a romantic relationship, with Lewandowski referring to them as "bulls----". However, when questioned directly under oath by Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove on March 4, 2026, Noem did not directly say "no" to having a sexual relationship, instead calling the question "tabloid garbage" And on top of this, Noem didn't deny it when questioned under oath, which would have been simple if that was the correct answer. It didn't really "hit" him at all. Yes, he and the vehicle made contact with one another, but because he put his hand against it to push off. He's leaning into it. His legs are away. There's a gap between his body and the car. It's why he didn't get knocked down. Click the link. Watch the frame-by-frame. You can start about 5 minutes in if you want. I see no way that caused internal bleeding. That seems VERY far fetched. I think that DHS is simply lying again, as they do constantly. The credibility of that organization is completely destroyed. So much so that even Trump was like "Wow, she's gotta go." When a pathological liar thinks you're hurting his credibility, it's a big red flag. Edited March 6 by Hodad Quote

The reports do not say where the internal bleeding was, but it was likely in the upper thigh to lower abdomen. He leans in, pushes off and maintains separation. Again, low speed, low contact. Not even hard enough to knock him down on an icy street. If you want to say that he may have been bruised, sure, maybe. But "internal bleeding" usually means something serious, and that just didn't happen here. Anybody who's played tackle football at any level has been hit harder than this hundreds of time. At any rate, it doesn't particularly matter. The point was that he clearly did NOT get run over. Nobody tried to kill him with a car. The DHS lied, as they did habitually and reflexively under Noem. We'll see if Markwayne (could his parents just not decide?) can do any better. Based on Trump's favor, his past statements on these issues and his unforgettable attempt to instigate a street fight during a senate hearing, I'm deeeeeply skeptical. This administration seems primarily focused on reality-tv casting rather than competence. Edited March 6 by Hodad 1 Quote

You spent years on here crying about how awful J6 was because of the assault on police and now you want to quibble and try to argue minutia to defend how badly an ICE officer was hit by a car. This all happened in a few seconds time. The officer getting hit didn’t have the luxury to wait to be hit to figure out how bad it would be after the fact while spending weeks playing it in slow motion analyzing it. The point was, he was in fact hit. He had no reasonable expectation to know it wouldn’t be worse and had already fired the first shot because she was coming right at him. Pointing out he was hit at this point is more about dispelling the lie people are pushing that she didn’t hit him and was harmlessly driving away. Quote

No different than if you were to be mugged by a black man at an ATM then police can use race to look for a black man in that area around that time. Quote

That decision does NOT place the risk creation on the driver of the car who was TRYING TO MANEAUVER AROUND HIM and SUCCEEDED. Obviously Ross did NOT SEE the POSITION HE CHOSE to be a RISK TO HIMSELF and he WAS RIGHT and NOT INJURED. In FACT, it is OBVIOUS that he manufactured the appearance of RISK with the INTENT of USING IT to JUSTIFY KILLING GOOD,, as evident by him calling her a "fcking b1tch" as she DIED and rammed two parked cars.
