Yep. she seemed to know that. How, exactly? The timing is also fishy. The day before, her husband's winery was brought into question. It had some 5000%+ increase in revenue. In the history of wineries, that has to be a world record. So, how exactly did that happen and how exactly did she just happened to get attacked the next day?

Every once in a while I briefly dive into the circumstances behind some of the inflamed rhetoric I read here, especially when cute spotted puppies threaten to bite. To that end, and for whatever it may be worth, I'll offer an opinion that I have absolutely no intention of defending beyond the mere stating of it... meaning I'm not going to roll with ya.

Before looking at the videos I was intrigued by a few things that seemed off to me. Doesn’t mean they couldn’t happen, just that they meet my personal "WTF standard" of things that are off. They cause me to scratch my head and look a bit deeper...  does the expected "monkey dance" look authentic and does the body language of the players ring true in a way that matches the stated motives or actual outcome.

1.  First (and putting aside her initial reaction for the moment) there's the fact that she remained at the event after being sprayed. It’s the very definition of horrifically ill advised if you don’t know what the substance is. I’m surprised (dare I say shocked) that her CPP detail didn’t whisk her away moments after the attack despite protestations on her part to stay.  

2. In one of the pictures I saw (before reviewing the video), the perpetrator had the best seat in the house to execute the attack without being intercepted. Possible, but thats now two things that stretch my credulity a bit and cause me to (perhaps cynically) anticipate the next point;

3. The perpetrator (apparently) had an extensive and well documented social media presence that supported Trump. 

I’d note that this guy went to a lot of effort and will likely pay a hefty price simply to deliver a few CCs of vinegar (in a weak sister manner BTW) in a very public forum. Ya, some passive aggressive types might do it that way but wouldn't you expect a bit more aggression on the part of a dedicated MAGA CHUD? To me, the selection of venue, weapon of choice and weak sister execution suggest more of an interest in publicity than anything in the way of real intent. If you are of sound mind and body, and actually wanted to hurt this lady, is this how you would do it?

Before viewing the video I expected to see a version of the “monkey dance” in which body language credibly supported the  idea of a prepared (and motivated) “predator” assaulting an unprepared (meaning horrified, shocked and surprised) prey.

Instead of that reaction, it appeared to me that moments before the attack began she made direct eye contact with the perpetrator and nodded (albeit imperceptibly). Then (and hats off to her if the reaction is sincere), she barely flinched during the course of a surprise “predatory rush” at close quarters.

The mans actions after spraying the vinegar (IMO) aren't  in keeping with the level of aggression I expected either (excluding that of spotted puppies). He's backing away from the podium toward the "stage left" exit in a nonaggressive manner and into the open arms of security. It's worth noting that the military hires far better actors than this guy for training purposes.  

My initial thought (albeit a typically cynical one) was… “WOW, give me a Company of Airborne trained to the Omar standard and I’ll take over the entire continent of Africa.”
