Nope...I have to send quarterly installments to CRA and a final payment when I file taxes...that's in addition to deductions my employer takes.

I donate money to our local food bank. That and half a pickup full of cans and bottles we collect from our guests every couple of months.

Small change goes into to CARE network cans for dogs and cats.

I don't believe any of that. You do nothing but lie on this forum. My suspicion is that you go and take things from the food bank not the other way around. And I don't doubt you do lots of little side gigs to earn some money and avoid paying your taxes.

But that's inevitably what happens. So many people have been to come dependent on the food banks but there's no real possibility of screening

They say in the fall of 2025 Something like 25% of Canadians visited a food bank at least once. And it's getting worse

So what you get happening is that the less scrupulous people will take advantage and get cheaper food because otherwise they'd have to sell their nice car. So rather than waiting until they sell their nice car and then get poor and then go to the food bank they decide they'd be better off going to the food bank early before they pour
