You'd think that common sense would tell you to pivot to what's important to voters, which is not living in the past.  When you have no solutions though it's far easier to complain about tat past which is why the party lost again ,and why Poilievre is nearing the end of his party leadership gig.

Even the left wing commentators agree that carney stole platform. So if the conservatives are still out of touch how did he win? LOL so dishonest

Mark Carney is a hot steaming pile of crap as a PM.  He should resign immediately.

Your Conservatives are just natural born losers.

As I've said, I would have campaigned door to door for Poilievre if he'd made his sentiments about lobbying a central plank of his platform.

I suspect the Liberals would be pretty fussy about stealing that from the Conservatives.

I know you like to dehumanize people that don't agree with you like that. Makes it easy to excuse the fact that you can't come up with an argument to defend your positions

Let me remind you that you frequently claim to be NDP, and if that were true that would make you the biggest loser in Canadian politics history :)  So can we take this as an admission that you aren't actually voting for or supporting the NDP as you occasionally claim?

Yeah you lie about a lot of things. But sure, I'll put that on the pile

And yet I helped prevent a Liberal majority. You're welcome.

On occassion.

He didn't mention trudeau at all really. Show me the speeches or the news releases or the like where he went on and on about Trudeau? Can't find any? hmmm. You may have mentioned him here and there once or twice but that's it

So I have to ask why do you feel the need to be dishonest about what he said? If your point cannot be proven with the truth then why have that point at all

You're the only one crying and complaining.

You went on at length about how it should be about policy and not thrashing the other guy, and I pointed out that the first thing carney did was going another show where mostly what he did was attack poilievre.

You're getting angry because you're getting boxed into a corner with your own statements. You claim that a leader shouldn't behave in a certain way and then it's being pointed out that your leader behaved in the very way that you said they shouldn't and you're not sure how to cope.

Sounds like you need to rethink things a bit

What does that have to do with your comments? You can't defend your own points so you're trying to somehow suggest that carney's victory is a personal accomplishment or something?

He might be a winner but you're certainly losing :P

You're clearly not an emotionally stable person...   Why do you need to get yourself so worked up all the time.  I said exactly 12 words and you reply that I'm the angry one while going on about whatever it is you're trying here.  You're a stunned fool... comical at best, emotionally challenged more fittingly.

Uhhh.... LOL  i don't think it's me who's getting worked up there kiddo :P   that was a pretty simple and straight forward reply, not a lot of emotion :)   Y're just mad as usual because it's factually accurate and you can't refute it.

The number of words isn't the issue, it's what you say.  You literally do the things you accuse others of and all i did was point that out. You're crying and complaining as you cry and complain about other people complaining ;)   Now you're mad that i pointed it out.

I am pretty sure whatever the liberal accomplishments are,...they are far more than the ones the conservatives had in the past decade LOL

Can you list conservative accomplishments??? It should be as easy as counting all the Stanley cups the Maple Leafs have from the past 50 years LOL

I know you are having great difficulty accepting defeat and admitting you are LOSER.

Records from 2015 to 2025, there area few highlights several key accomplishments aimed at expanding social safety nets, strengthening environmental protections, and investing in infrastructure.
Key Accomplishments (2015–2025):
  • Social Policy & Poverty Reduction: The Canada Child Benefit was introduced, which helped lift 435,000 children out of poverty. The government also lowered the retirement age back to 65 from 67.
  • Childcare & Dental Care: The government secured agreements to implement $10-a-day childcare across provinces and introduced the Canadian Dental Care Plan for uninsured residents.
  • Climate Change & Energy: Introduced a national price on pollution (carbon tax).
  • Legalization of Cannabis: Legalized cannabis with strict regulations, which generated tax revenue used for initiatives like funding to combat substance abuse.
  • Infrastructure & Housing: Invested in national infrastructure, including expanding transit and reducing drinking water advisories on reserves.
  • Indigenous Reconciliation: Committed to implementing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's recommendations and launched an inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG).
  • Taxation & Economy: Lowered income taxes for the middle class and increased taxes on the highest 1% of earners.
  • LGBTQ+ and Gender Equity: Appointed Canada’s first gender-balanced cabinet and enacted the Pay Equity Act.
Mixed Results & Critical Context:
  • Economic Impact: While employment reached record highs at times, critics argue that policies contributed to inflation and high cost-of-living issues, specifically in housing.
  • Immigration: The government significantly increased immigration, which critics argue put pressure on existing infrastructure and healthcare systems, leading to a policy shift in 2024–2025 to reduce these targets.
  • Pipeline & Economy: While the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion was completed under the Liberal government, it was a polarizing project for both environmental and economic reasons.

All which have resulted in....

Declining GDP Per Capita: Canada has seen the worst per capita growth in the G7 over the last decade.

Low Productivity: Canada has struggled with near-zero productivity growth for an extended period, frequently ranking last among G7 peers.

Shrinking Economy Per Person: High immigration-driven population growth has resulted in a headline GDP that grows, but a per-person GDP that is falling.

Weakest Post-Pandemic Recovery: Canada was among the few advanced countries where real GDP per capita was lower in 2022 than in 2019.

High Debt Levels: Canada has seen the fastest deterioration of public finances among G7 nations over the last decade.

Nice try but as usual a complete failure.

And that situation doesn't seem to be getting better with carney, if anything it seems to be getting worse.
