Oh noes not Canada, well if they get froggie we may get our next state..

Easy tiger :)   It'd be a shame if our friendship ended with me missing a boot and you walking funny on the way to your proctologist ;)

Having said that, NOBODY is paying attention to trump shooting up some drug boats here.  Like... seriously it couldn't be less of an issue if it tried. Maybe somewhere there's some weird nutbar with nothing better to do who was raised on soymilk  and is desperate to find a new reason to hate trump as a hobby that is mildly miffed but that's about it. Of all the things 'trump' i hear discussed here this one never even comes up.

So my expert opinion is that this is a massive nothingburger in Canada :)  We're just not interested.

Understanding Geopolitics is crucial to interpreting Global dynamics. (political, economic, conflict)

To say (or think) events happening in one part of the World cannot or will not have an effect on another part is incredibly obtuse.

Canada despite a large geo-footprint is basically irrelevant in respect to effecting global change - Canada is along for the ride.

Those that are complacent re: World events fail to understand or are ignorant of how so-called global events shaped the country and you would have to be a complete fool to be so complacent to think global events won't continue to shape Canada - or destroy it.

What to do?

Oh, Canada, don't be complacent less your complacency bit u in the a$$.

Countries don't so much have friends as much as they have common interest.

Except Canada, they’re a none government organization. Calling Canada a Country is a bit of a stretch. For now annd until the end of time, Canada will forever be a unincorporated territory of America.

No. We reject your assertion. You can’t offer a compelling fact based argument to support calling it murder.

That it was murder has been established beyond a doubt. That leaves two possible positions: You either believe the president of the US or the secretary of defense can commit murder, or you don't.

No, it hasn’t. You asserting it has doesn’t make it so. Which is why you are still not offering any fact based argument.

Do you know what a double-tap is? They sent a second strike to kill the survivors. This is most definitely murder (which, by the way, so was the first strike since the US is not at war with the boat operators).

Besides, it has been established that the boat was not even heading to the US. It was going to Suriname.

When Trump said, “The strike occurred while the terrorists were at sea in International waters transporting illegal narcotics, heading to the United States.” – he was lying.

Conjecture only. The US is conducting a war against narco-terrorists whether they be boat operators or Daffy Ducks.

Established that the narcotics were heading to the US, the boat was a small part of the journey.

They sent a second strike to finish off the craft. This was approved by JAG and decisions made by the command on the battlefield.

It’s no more murder than if a bomber in WW2 circled back around to finish off a Nazi fuel dump that still had a tank standing and you are crying because there were still a few Nazis alive.

You continue the same dumb obtuse argument I have already refuted before, as if Drugs magically appear on a non stop flight from the jungles of Venezuela to the door step of a junkie in Chicago.

So you have been distracted by the shiny words the president and his admin use, too.

There is no war, only this president's lies. He says it's to fight fentanyl. But that comes from Mexico, not boats on the ocean. He says they were heading for the US, but Suriname is the route to Europe and Africa.

If the US is conducting a war against drug traffickers, why did Trump pardon Hernandez? In fact, Trump has pardoned about 100 drug traffickers during his time in office, but sure let's blow up the little guy on the boat.

On President Donald Trump’s first full day in office this year, he pardoned Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, who was convicted of creating the largest online black market for illegal drugs and other illicit goods of its time.

In the months since, he has granted clemency to others, including Chicago gang leader Larry Hoover and Baltimore drug kingpin Garnett Gilbert Smith. And last week, he pardoned former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández, who had been sentenced to 45 years in prison for running his country as a vast “narco-state” that helped to move at least 400 tons of cocaine into the United States

It helps if you try to be honest. The administration laid out this publicly for all to see and yet you still have to lie.

The reason wasn’t just “fentanyl” like you claim here.

I've told you before, I do not consider the White House a reliable source of anything. Besides, what you linked has nothing to do with the boat strikes.

Trump has repeatedly tried to link Venezuela to the fentanyl crisis. It’s a lie.

President Trump has said that the U.S. military is attacking boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific because of the large numbers of fentanyl deaths in the United States, and he claims that those boats come from Venezuela.

But lawmakers and narcotics experts say that the Trump administration’s efforts to tie Venezuela to the U.S. fentanyl crisis are misleading. For one, the fentanyl used illegally in the United States does not come from Venezuela.

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/11/19/us/politics/trump-venezuela-fentanyl.html

Also, his lies continue (and his inclination to always pull numbers out of thin air) when he says every boat they strike saves “25,000 lives.”

“The statement that each of the administration’s strikes on alleged drug-smuggling boats saves 25,000 lives is absurd,” said Carl Latkin, a professor of public health at Johns Hopkins University who studies substance use. “The evidence is similar to that of the moon being made of blue cheese. If you look carefully, you will see a resemblance. However, a close analysis of this claim suggests that it lacks all credibility.”

Use a thief to catch a thief.

Shiny words? You mean like the large font in a vain attempt to shout nonsense that fails to support your argument.
