but but but it's natural so we should simply accept New York being underwater....

I think there's a lot of people who'd love to see new york under water :)   I think if you convince them this is true they'll be out burning tires and clear cutting tomorrow :)

Sure, that'd be the same people that believe climate change is an existential crisis that threatens us all but china should be allowed to pollute because they're a growing nation and climate change will understand 😆😆😆😆

Honestly i doubt there's anyone anywhere who really thinks all of new york state will be underwater.

So move it. Or build a dike.  It's not like anyone's going to wake up tomorrow and suddenly new york will be underwater.

So in other words you're saying it's not really a threat.

You don't even understand the meaning of TIPPING POINT.

Don't tell me what I'm saying out of your complete IGNORANCE.

It would COST FAR MORE to "move" NYC than to mitigate GHG before the disaster. Fortunately it IS happening with wind and solar and storage because it is CHEAPER for many applications than fossil fuels.

So, VERY CHEAP posters here are willing to gamble on "tipping points" not being real nor reached because they believe "it needs to be proven" or "it won't affect them."

When MAJOR COASTAL CITIES are FLOODED, it WILL AFFECT EVERYONE.

It's like I keep saying, roboscare, pack your shit and move to higher ground. Why aren't the East and West coasts doing this? It's f*cking madness!!

You really love that appeal to authority fallacy, don't you? Fifty years of predictions from "peer-reviewed scientific" papers used to create doom and gloom headlines that never came true leaves me unimpressed with your latest doom and gloom prediction.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Experts are not here to impress YOU; just people who can understand SCIENCE.

Esp NOT when you have NOTHING BETTER than a gish gallop of NON EXPERT BULLSHIT and try to pretend that means something.

Apparently science and fantasy are one and the same in your world. In my world, scientists have to be right at least some of the time. For 50+ years, climate scientists have been wrong about wvery single doom and gloom prediction. Every....single....one.

Do you know what I do with people that are reliably wrong? I do the opposite of what they say.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?
