Companies that build pipelines don't attempt to start a project when the government has laws in place that prevent them from being approved.  That is the still the situation.  So far Carney has done nothing to kill bill C69, the no more pipeline law.  He has done nothing to kill the ban on pipelines on the B.C. north coast.  So he has really done nothing yet to show he is in favour of building pipelines and selling our oil to foreign countries.

He has a globalist history of being part of the U.N. climate change fighters and on the World Economic Forum and a Vatican committee, all globalist powers.  His history so far in his life would seem to strongly include globalist anti-energy beliefs.  He has the same old Trudeau people in his government with the same old ideology.  I don't see him changing things much.

Canada could become an energy superpower but probably not under the Liberals.

I don't see PM Carney changing things much in the energy sector from the Trudeau era.

or the Harper or Mulroney era..... LOL

Although it was Trudeau and Chretien that got the pipelines going.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to tell me what mine should be.

It won't, the exportable peices are in Alberta. The equalization payment has got them cheesed off. They need access to the sea to be competitive. The tar sand raw crude is heavy compared to American shale. Your treehuggers won't want to build new refineries or allow pipeline in sufficient quanity except to the US. So why in the world would the Albertan stay with Canada and have their energy resource siphoned off to pay for the Confederation? Why not just leave and join the US. Seriously, put your Anti-American pride aside and look at the math, it doesn't work.

Oh he'll be even worse! He won't even pay for ONE pipeline with public funds.

Wouldn’t have had to use public funds if he didn’t f**k it up so badly.
