Canada’s population is predominantly urban.

Typically, urban areas exhibit more liberal, left-wing, secular, progressive, cosmopolitan, and/or multiculturalist political attitudes, while rural areas exhibit more conservative, right-wing, religious, right-wing populist, and/or nationalist political attitudes.

To have any representation in government, right leaning Canadians must vote for emperor Trump… via 51st.

Is that true?

And is that wrong?

Maybe. But our federal seats are generally rural.

PEI has 4 seats.

True in the statistical sense.

Wrong depends on your own views.

PEI has 4 seats.

And only 180,000 people. 45,000 voters per seat in the HoC

Alberta has 5M people and only 37 seats. 135,000 voters per seat in the HoC.

If Albertans got the same level of representation as PEIers do, they'd have 111 seats instead of 39.

Toronto has 54 seats.

How many of them are rural?

1) Is that link broken? It doesn't seem related to the topic

2) Who cares what D Ford thinks? He's reviled, even by conservatives, and he's theoretically a conservative.

Precisely my point.

Canada is a federal state:  Canada has two official federal languages, but Canada has no official culture.

It does, just not openly admitted to. They’re Americans.
