Epstein’s lawyers were prominent and powerful politically active republicans. Their careers were elevated by Trump afterwards included one who had been named as a perpetrator.  It is entirely relevant to mote that Republicans arranged this sweetheart deal and kept it secret, elevated the careers of the people involved in the deal and are now trying to prevent the files from being released.
