So you will be responsible for and have to look after the kids or dump it on local governments. That's all I've been saying.

You guys were trying to say you could force the parents to take them along. You can't.

Once again, you lie. Nowhere did I say we would force parents to take their kids.

What the HELL are you talking about?  What does their citizenship have to do with anything, OF COURSE CHILDREN CAN BE FORCED TO GO WITH THEIR PARENTS!!!

Hell that would be true if they're ALL citizens!  What state or province does NOT require the children to live with their legal guardians unless the guardians are unable or unfit to do so??  Name ONE.

This is law EVERYWHERE, a  minor must be in the care of their guardian (parents in this case).  Nationality doesn't even come into it.

They may well feel that their child is better off abandoned in the US

Well then they're abandoning their child and we've already discussed that.  That would make them criminals and the child should be taken into state care the same as any abandoned child. Not complicated.

Because your constitution allows them to. You can't blame people for wanting a better life.

The Constitution does not allow for ILLEGAL immigration.

I can 100% blame people for their actions to enter and/or remain here illegally.

The kids are citizens, citizens have rights. They can't be forced to leave the country of their citizenship any more than you can be forced to leave yours.

Your constitution makes their children citizens.

But they can be forced to stay with their parents, just like every kid (including me when i was a kid) can.

You keep lying and pretending this is an immigration issue. this is a legal guardian issue. Kids can be forced to stay with their parents unless the parents can be proven to be unfit.

Seriously -  take the whole 'illegal alien' thing out for a moment.  Are you seriously suggesting that if a 10 year old wants to just leave their family and go live somewhere on their own that they can do that? And that they won't be returned to their parents?

Can you guarantee you wouldn't try to do the same if you were stuck in some 3rd world shit hole run by gangs? I'm not the one making moral judgments here, I'm simply saying citizens cannot be forced out of their own country for any reason. Keeping families together is just the excuse being used to justify it.

This is a pretty vague hypothetical that most of these people are not facing.

Also, what is the point of your question? Are you back to trying to say you don't support enforcing immigration laws now?

Well, that is not all you have simply been saying, and as I have already said, nowhere has my position been to force citizens to leave.

So again... back to the point since you keep avoiding it:

No, the mess is caused by people who come here illegally and then have kids while being here illegally.

No they can't. WTF do you think citizenship means? You just can't make up excuses to justify violating their rights or the fundamental protections guaranteed by citizenship.

I don't know what a 10 year old wants. Maybe he does want to stay with his family but maybe his family believes he will be better off staying even without them. That's their decision whether you like it or not. You can't make a citizen (or anyone else for that matter) responsible for, or  suffer the consequences of the actions of their parents

Maybe they are and maybe they aren't but you still can't force the kids to go.

Your immigration laws don't override your constitution. This will wind up in court if the government insists on making these kids leave and the government will lose.

I've never maintained you can't deport the parents but this thread is about their kids. It's in the title.

Where is the government insisting on making these kids leave?

Yes they can and as i've told you it has nothing to do with citizenship

Children reside with and are cared for by their parents or guardians, unless those people are unable to do so due to defect.

You seem to refuse to address that simple law.  Is it because you know you're completely full of shit on this issue and you're embarrassed to face it?

Until you can address that simple fact everything else you're saying just makes you look like a tard.

Children being cared for by their guardians has NOTHING to do with immigration or citizenship.   If dad got a job two states over and the family had to move, the kid doesn't get to say 'naw i'll just stay here and hang out as a ward of the state".

the 10 year old doesn't get a say. And the parents don't either, unless they can make some sort of plans or arrangements.  Parents are REQUIRED to care for their children and provide the necessaries of life

22 minutes ago, Aristides said:

Well that ends the discussion then.  They go bye bye.  BY LAW - they have to take and care for their children unless they make other lawful arrangements and leave their kid behind. If they just abandon the kid they're criminals.

IF they won't then arrest them for child abandonment and failing to provide the necessaries and lock them up.

That's what we do with parents who abandon their kids.

Illegal aliens are here illegally, therefore they are breaking the law and must be deported. Little citizens follow their illegal alien parents.

That's a symptom of the mess caused by the Dems, but a problem of its own.

Because democrats say the constitution allows them to but that's only because they hate this country and want to see it destroyed.

No, Trump was right to EO birthright citizenship out of commission, because the Amenders couldn't foresee the dumpster fire that is today's democrat party.

Thanks to the f*cking liars on the left, we need to clarify the 5th and 14th amendments.

well, to be clear he didn't END birthright citizenship.  He just put exclusions on it.  So a woman who is not a citizen but permanently residing in the states who had a baby with an illegal immigrant would STILL have the baby be an american citizen.   But  -  temporary visitors such as work visa students and such if one of the parents isn't a citizen then the child won't be either.  And obviously if both are in the country illegally then no citizenship

We'll see if it holds up. The courts are set to rule on that pretty quickly, we should hear very shortly. Honestly it feels like that kind of thing really SHOULD be with the congress rather than presidential executive order but we'll see  what the court says.
