If you lived here all your life you were born here If you mean someone who has lived a portion of their life here but was not born here and immigrated here at some point in their life, Then they are by definition an immigrant. It has absolutely nothing to do with citizenship, if you immigrated here then you are an immigrant. That's what immigrant means. You would not stop being an immigrant, you would always till the end of time be an immigrant to Canada because you immigrated. That's literally the definition My opa came here whne he was about 3, lived his whole life here, Became a citizen very early. HE WAS STILL AN IMMIGRANT!!
