Amazing how someone can claim a total embarrassment is a "win". Must be a Trumpalo.

Embarrassing for the democrats.

I bet you losers have been hiding money all over the Federal Government - just like fat, pink haired, squirrels.

EPA chief seeks to claw back $20 billion in climate funding

It's so refreshing to have a President who sees right through the woke bullshit of the left. :D

Looks like it's not quite a win yet according to the article he's trying to get out of the contracts but hasn't yet.  Still, moving in a positive direction

Well I don't know these programs specifically so it's hard to say whether the money was a waste or not, dumping that much money into the economy always creates inflation. You can tell the democrats know that because they made it part of the anti-inflation ACT :)  they always name their acts the opposite of what they're doing to distract :)

It's fine to provide some incentives or the like like a tax break if you are upgrading your home to a more efficient furnace or the like. The large-scale grants where there's no consumer input rarely work out well and at this particular moment in America's history they're not a great idea

This is true, but at least it's cool to see the EPA chief not acting like a complete tree hugging psychopath.

Sure. I have to say I am surprised and impressed at how fast he seems to be gaining control over many of these agencies. You can tell a hell of a lot of thought has gone into it. I'm not even sure it would be entirely possible in Canada

I think even you would have to concede that Biden did very little to help the environment. He spent money for other reasons. And as a result of his spending inflation got out of control and now things have to get reigned in.

Countries tend to function best when the left and right parties are both fairly close to the center and don't get radical with their spending and such. Biden was pretty left of center and things got out of control with spending and that always leads to a pretty right of center response to get spending back under control. If that doesn't work for people then they need to be more careful about letting their parties get too radical in the first place because it inspires a radical response

I don't think it's radical at all. It's common sense.

You come out of a global economic shutdown and...dump billions into the economy AND force the price of fuel up? Brandon and the Libbies did this on purpose.

They are...in a word...insane.

Leftlings are never happy. It's why they're such ardent defenders of wrong behaviors.

I honestly think they just believed that the American public was stupid and would think it was great that the government was buying them free things with no consequences whatsoever.

Even the policies themselves were fairly radical if not absolutely insane as you suggest. Paying off everyone's student debt, how is that remotely fair to the people who came before, what kind of message does that send to the next person who has to borrow and doesn't get theirs paid off, and how do you justify the insane inflation that kind of spending is guaranteed to generate? It makes no sense in the slightest. Why did kids today deserve to get their debt wiped out while the kids of yesterday didn't?

So the kids in the past had to pay for their school and now through their taxes have to pay for this generation school? That's not only not common sense, it's pretty much exploitative.

Clearly they thought that if they paid for the kids education the kids would all vote for them forever. And by the time the economy collapsed in the nation was in trouble they could step out of the way and then blame the republicans for everything which is what they pretty much did with the housing crisis that led to the great recession.

Maybe they did do it on purpose.

The win is the fact they are actually trying to stop waste rather than  just throwing the money down the toilet and asking for more because they are out.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

I believe they did. Not Brandon or Kamala. The behind the scenes bast@rds.

They'd tank the US economy for power. They belong in jail.
