How nice of him to decide for Ukraine.
Not like the countries involved need to be consulted.

Already stated Ukraine can't join NATO. Not like the other members need be consulted.

Just like he is at home. I will write an Executive Decree and thou shalt obey.

Oh how cute. You think the war in Ukraine is about Ukraine. We've been in proxy wars with Russia for quite a while now. Syria, Lebanon, Israel, parts of Iraq...all fields that we've been in proxy wars with Russia.since Putin has been in power.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Bet you Putin's poppin' champagne and laughing his ass off.

And who let him get to this spot? Do you remember this weak...I hesitate to call it a threat...threat?

"I think what you're going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not do."

So the handlers had to get involved and they said:

"I think what you're going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not do."

That clearly never happened. And Putin knew that would be the case. Biden was weak and Putin took advantage of it.

Now what do we do?

  1. Go with a full on intervention? Put our people in harms way and drive back Russia only to end any chance of any economic or diplomatic relations?
  2. Keep the status quo and hope Putin just gets bored and goes home?
  3. Negotiate? We have a lot in our bag for leverage. We can threaten to take out Iranian and North Korean bases that send Russia supplies. Pressure China to stop buying Russian oil. Force Nato members to abide by the sanctions originally placed on Russia and actually sell them our LNG that Biden capped because his handlers are eco freaks.

There is a lot to be gained from negotiating. And, yes, negotiating means giving up some stuff. And, yes, Ukraine needs to be involved.

I don't see how negotiating isn't the only viable option. Do you? Do you have a secrete, fatal bullet that will restore Ukraine to pre-war borders and condition?

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

Who said he is deciding for Ukraine?

Those other countries are free to do anything they like.

That is part of being in NATO, each member nation has a say in who can join, just like we do.

Who has to obey any of this?

The west, led by the U.S could easily outspend Russia into submission. Russia's already spending a third of their budget on this war and losing hundreds of thousands of soldiers. It's so bad they need to bring in North Korean cannon fodder.

**** 4-3 Canada in overtime vs Sweden!!!!!

But Trump will get a promise for a couple of Trump hotels in Russia and throw Ukraine under the bus. Who's next for Putin?

But spending money on Ukraine might interfere with the tax cuts for billionaires. 'Nuff said.

You said… “the west”

So, why is no one else spending Russia into submission?

Are you another Canadian down here in the US forum complaining about how we are not spending enough?

How much is Canada spending and doing and why are you not complaining about them spending more?

We could? Not while western Europe is buying LNG from Russia and China us buying their oil.

Where did they say that?

You are comical. The US IS NATO. The other NATO members only survived as long as they have on the deterrence of having the US footing most of any real military deterrence. Trump is having to drag the other NATO nations kicking and screaming to properly funding their own military.

But yeah, sure, kicking us out is the big plan. LOL

Who's saying that? The Mango Mussolini himself with his own mouth.

The USA used to be NATO, now you MAGA m0rons think it some country club you own.
US participation is not necessary anymore, if you'd open your eyes in the last decade you might have noticed Europe rearming, coalescing and standing behind Ukraine.
It's their decision to make to join the EU and NATO.

And so...if the USA halts funding for the Ukraine, who's gonna pick up the tab? Germany? France? England?

This is coming to its logical end.

If US participation is not needed, why are you and others on here crying about what Trump does here?

If NATO doesn't need us, why are you here arguing that they need us?

Who do you think has kept Ukraine afloat this long? The Unitied States. It is mostly our money, mostly our equipment, mostly our munitions.

Let 'em. They won't though. Without the US money and military presence, Europe is a sitting duck.
