Mr Vance already changed his tune from anti trump to pro trump with the hope of politically gaining from it. But naturally he'll likely be eaten up by the experience at some point.

Read Vance's book "Hillbilly Elegy." It is very telling as to what makes Senator Vance tick.

Vance reversed his Trump hating personna when Trump did a great job as president, (the best in all history.) Vance admitted the things he said about Trump were wrong and most of them were media lies.

Usually people around Trump wind up disliking him because he keeps 18 hour days (like most successful businessmen) and a lot of the beltway types are a bunch of lazy entitled pu$$ies.

Vance has completely different roots. I'd say he will continue to admire this great president for the next four years, as Trump saves America from the Nazis.
