Oh really, dumb AF puppy?

What does "might have long-term effects on 'growth spurts' and 'fertility'" sound like to you?

Is missing growth spurts no big deal? Is fertility no big deal? I get that it's not a big deal to you, but it is to the top 95% of the gene pool.

Almost every side effect of puberty blockers goes away when one stops taking them and can also be mitigated by taking hormones. Unfortunately for you the effects of lead poisoning on cognitive development are permanent

The Mayo Clinic thinks otherwise. Sorry random internet 'tard, but I'll take their word for it over yours:

  • Use of GnRH analogues also might have long-term effects on:
  • Growth spurts.
  • Bone growth.
  • Bone density.
  • Fertility, depending on when the medicine is started.

You're a boxer laying on the canvas, talking about how weak the other guy's punches are 😉

I understand HIPAA violations and this guy should be prosecuted. However, there is an easy solution to the issue of gender affirmation surgeries (which are statistically speaking rather rare).. just mandate that the individual be 18 and therefore in control of themselves.

Are the changes permanent?
GnRH analogues don't cause permanent physical changes. Instead, they pause puberty. That offers a chance to explore gender identity. It also gives youth and their families time to plan for the psychological, medical, developmental, social and legal issues that may lie ahead..

When a person stops taking GnRH analogues, puberty starts again.

It does say what you correctly copied and pasted:

  • Are the changes permanent?
GnRH analogues don't cause permanent physical changes. Instead, they pause puberty. That offers a chance to explore gender identity. It also gives youth and their families time to plan for the psychological, medical, developmental, social and legal issues that may lie ahead..

When a person stops taking GnRH analogues, puberty starts again.

but if you read further it says:

  • What are the possible side effects and complications?

  •
  • Possible side effects of GnRH analogue treatment include:
  • Swelling at the site of the shot.
  • Weight gain.
  • Hot flashes.
  • Headaches.
  • Mood changes.

  • Use of GnRH analogues also might have long-term effects on:
  • Growth spurts.
  • Bone growth.
  • Bone density.
  • Fertility, depending on when the medicine is started.

So sure, puberty starts again, but doesn't necessarily reach its intended conclusions: fertility and full growth. Some say those are important.

You'd be doing the world a huge favour if you walked into traffic.
