Off topic.

Good excuse.  Obvious deflection because you have no answer.

Its not the topic at hand... someone with even the most basic of reading comprehension skills could see that. Besides, as always you missed the point of my including the bit about being atheist. Your zealousness precludes you from seeing this. Care to guess as to why I brought it up? Hint.. not nearly as grand as you pretend it to be.

Of course your claim of being an atheist has something to do with the topic at hand.

The gay-pride issue is a Biblical issue of right and wrong.  Atheists try to ignore the Biblical commandments and teachings on Biblical morality.  So if one is a claimed atheist, he can claim he is not under any Christian or Biblical moral principles.  He can far more easily go along with gay pride practices and agenda.  It's as simple as that.

Claiming atheism is contrary to reason and logic as I explained.  Your only argument is "its not the topic at hand" even if it has a direct bearing on one's lack of moral or Biblical beliefs.

You clearly did not read the exchange and so have no idea of the context... It's sad that you jump in at chapter 8 of the 12 chapter book and pretend to have something valid to say. Try reading the full exchange between Dougie and I... I know that you can't do this.

You don't make sense.  You are the one that professed to be an atheist and I simply replied to that.  Your statement saying you are atheist says it all.  Nothing else changes that.

And you are the one who jumps into a conversation mid stream and is trying to divert it... nice try, though.  this is evidence that you are too lazy to read the full exchange and not reflexively react.. its quite sad.

No diversion at all.  It is all part of the same topic.

People who are atheists or claim to be have no moral compass or foundation because they don't believe in the God of the Bible.  Therefore they don't believe God has ordained certain commandments, laws, and principles.  If in their mind there is no God, why would they?  They don't believe in God so why would they believe in his written revelation, the Bible?

It is a diversion.. because Dougie and I were not discussing the validity of Christianity which is what you are attempting to divert this to. If you had read the exchange.. you would not be making such a fool of yourself.

I will agree that people are born with a conscience, but that is very limited.  Many people who had consciences also did many evil things in the world and continue to do so.  So God gave man his revelation with commandments, laws, and the gospel.  Atheists reject all that which means they only have what other people say as some sort of guide.

You continue to try to divert the topic.  Christianity and the Bible are central to the topic.  You as an atheist of course would deny that and claim it has nothing to do with the topic.

you are reacting to Dougie and I's exchange but clearly you did not read it... If you had, you would not be diverting it into this pointless squabble about moral superiority.

I do not have to read the posts between you and Dougie because I am speaking to your claim of atheism and the topic as it relates to atheism versus the Bible.  Quite simple.

And there we have it.. you admit to not reading the posts and so have no idea what we (Dougie and I) were talking about. Thanks for admitting how clueless you are

Yes God is morally superior.  The Bible is God's revelation to man whether you like it or not.  Atheists reject it because they supposedly don't believe God exists.  The Bible is absolutely infallible and inspired.  Atheism is something you created in your mind unfortunately.  It is a dead end, a hopeless existence with nothing to look forward to.

You said you were atheist.  What more needs to be read?  Nothing else you could say changes that.  You are grasping for straws to try to escape.

What more needs to be said? First, you could read the entire exchange and not cherry pick it? A more genuine person would do the latter. If I have not read enough to comment.. I generally do not do so. I know.. you are not ol that ilk.

With all you commenting to try to explain away your statement, you have not succeeded.

You could much more easily have simply said what you meant and why your conversation with Dougie somehow clarifies it.  But you haven't done so, which means you have nothing to offer to change your statement that said you are atheist.

I am not going to spoon feed it to someone who admits to being too lazy to read a few messages. You could simply read them.. and then not be having this thoroughly pointless exchange. You can't possibly be so braindead as to think that you are going to change my ways... or maybe you are?

If being surrounded by religiosity is important then no, Nevada is not for you. However, there is no state income tax and the political climate is very mild in comparison to most others. Finally, it is more libertarian than anything. You be as weird as you want to be.. just stay over there.

I'm just partial to Southrons, I don't get along so well with them Yankees

but I'm only looking at vacation spots

my wife will never leave Canada, she fears American freedom

Well, if you ever find yourself in this neck of the woods.. I can point you to some places that exemplify freedom.

well my wife likes Vegas

but it's so expensive now, it's not worth it anymore

however, Great Basin National Park, for the dark skies, that's a definite Nevada vacation destination for me

Great Basin is nice.. If you have a vehicle and are willing to drive, you should check out Jarbidge. It will make you think that you went back in time to the early 1900's. Its also quite lush and green. Probably the wettest place in NV. Only drawback is that it demands that you drive 6 to 9 hours.

no worries, I love to drive

I only want to drive to my vacation spots, be that Mississippi or Nevada

my cars have adaptive cruise control now, it station keeps with the cars in front using a radar

I just kick back & listen to SiriusXM,  enjoying the scenery

while the car practically drives itself

Highway 50 all the way from Utah to Fernley.  Twice.  One town had a big hand painted sign on someone's lawn that said "Speed Trap Ahead".  Pretty hillbilly looking.  The next year it was still there.

You see lots of hand painted signs... that point off the highway to a dirt path that goes off over the horizon and the sign says "Taxidermy ->"

I'm not a big tech guy, I don't spend much time on my iPhone

but what a boon it is for driving

Waze navigation crowd sourced alerts for speed traps and cameras

I caught an OPP county mountie moving into his speed trap today even

proudly ratted him out to the Wazers
