CdnFox Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 Canada Post wrong to suspend unvaccinated remote workers: arbitrator | National Post A labour arbitrator has struck down part of Canada Post’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccine policy for employees, ruling it was unreasonable to suspend staff without pay who worked remotely simply because they did not confirm they were vaccinated. “Canada Post has not established a compelling workplace health and safety interest in mandating vaccines for employees who worked exclusively remotely, where there was no reasonable prospect that in-person work would be required of them,” arbitrator Michelle Flaherty wrote in her ruling in a case brought by the Union of Postal Communications Employees (UPCE). The fact that it happened at all is an example of how far justin Trudeau drove the lunacy that those who were on vaccinated were evil people. He literally had people so worked up that they thought someone working at home that would never interact with another person in the workplace needed to be suspended because they refused the job. Presumably because they were bigots and misogynists and waste of space as he put it. Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data
herbie Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 A labour arbitrator ruled in a case where workers weren't exposed to the public. Canada Post made that vax rule NOT F*CKING JUSTIN TRUDEAU. Meanwhile you missed how a BC Supreme Court Judge threw out cases of doctors and nurses canned becasue they wouldn't get the vax as they did cause a risk to the public. One nurse whining vaccinations were against he religious beliefs (AWWW her wewigion was more important to her job... get a job as a nun then!) 1 Quote
myata Posted May 14, 2024 Report Posted May 14, 2024 It's not only Justin obviously. It is, very obviously, the system that allows almost unlimited abuse of power to anyone who will walk in Justin's shoes and sit in his chair. Dumb two year olds just couldn't get that no matter what. He set the tone, he stirred the fear, and he absolutely gets to wear it that other gov't and quazi gov't orgs followed his lead. Sorry leftie. In what way did i miss that? How is someone who is directly interacting with the public the same as someone who didn't interact with the public or other workers in the slightest? You drinking again? Quote One nurse whining vaccinations were against he religious beliefs (AWWW her wewigion was more important to her job... get a job as a nun then!) And? I mean i think they were wrong to do that to doctors and nurses and there can be no doubt that many died in bc as a direct result of that from a shortage of those specific professionals, but you see the difference right? Or are you legit too drunk/stupid to not see the difference between someone who actually interacts with the public and someone who was actually already isolated at their home and wouldn't even be seeing anyone? Maybe this is too complex a concept for you? Perhaps you work for Canada post? LOLOLOL Quote There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

Also, those docs & nurses worked through covid without any vaxxes and many caught it and have natural immunity. But natural immunity was said to be a conspiracy theory, so..... The whole thing could have been avoided had we just followed the real science instead of the political science. They should be hiring those workers back, like Alberta did. There's no reason not to and we are in a healthcare crisis. It's just stubbornness to deny the science at this point. And Canadians suffer for it.
