Caswell Thomas Posted January 26, 2024 Report Posted January 26, 2024 The Jury in the New York damages trial after listening to Trump and his attorney again try multiple times to rewrite history of the prior Courts' liability Findings , deliberated and fined Trump over $85 million dollars, followed by the Clogging and Ranting of both Trump and his attorney after the Award was announced vowing to APPEAL, APPEAL, APPEAL as long as Trump has money to pay her ....and keep the Halls of American Justice putting Trump in a four walled hall of his own complete with his own toilet, sink, bed and window overlooking a nice view through the bars for a long time. 1 Quote

ETA: My absolute favorite part of this whole sordid affair is when Trump tried his disgusting "I don't know her and besides, she's not my type" defense and then when attorneys produced a photo of them together he misidentified Carroll as his ex-wife, Marla Maples. After all his loud mouth just cost him at least $80 MILLION dollars and the more he fights it, the more his attorney will get , because he will raise money to pay not only the Award, or to fight it, but also her fees, so she has no incentive to stop him and he thinks " initiative " means he will win if he keeps kicking the can down the road. The problem is, and he's too stupid to see it, is what was once a cheap 8 oz can is now a garbage can and at the rate he's going it will be a garbage truck before the Courts tape it shut. Quote
Rebound Posted January 28, 2024 Report Posted January 28, 2024 (edited) The shlt’s just starting to hit the fan for Trump, who will lose over $100 million more next week, possibly as much as $500 million. That’s more than he can raise from the MAGA fools, and THEN he faces 91 felony charges, most of which can put him away for life. All he needs to do is get convicted of the four DC charges or the Georgia charges and he’s going to jail for life, after getting all of his cash drained. And filing civil appeals won’t help, because he still needs to put up cash bonds to cover the damages if he appeals. A cash bond isn’t a normal 10% jail bond; it has to be backed up by a mortgage-free property or with pure cash. I doubt Trump has $83 million in mortgage-free real estate and he certainly doesn’t have another $250 million of it. His promises of appeal are probably empty threats.
