Meh - he's yanking people's chains to get tv time. He did that last election. Then as he wins the primaries he tones it down and goes for mass appeal. The problem for the dems is the "boy who cried trump" effect. They've lied about russian collusion and a dozen other things for so long that now even when there's legit criticism few are buying it. They might turn up their noses and say 'shouldn't do that' but they don't really believe he's hilter or the lefts warning. This is why it's important not to rely so heavily on baseless rhetoric as they have. Every time he gets arrested his polling numbers go up. godzilla Posted December 19, 2023 Author Report Posted December 19, 2023 pretty difficult to tone this down... dems will play it on tv over and over and over and over and over.... i don't think he is behind any of this. smart people are whispering in his ear. the plan has always been to naturalize the most vile behaviour and criminality. i agree that he's deep down a softy though and doesn't have the guts to brutalize people. he'll try and have them locked up but i don't see him killing people. others will try to use him for that purpose. he couldn't keep his power last time the easy way. will he keep it the hard way next time? Yeah, i doubt very much he'll be interested in actually gassing anyone I think i'd be more worried if i were a democrat who had something to hide than if i were an illegal alien. I think you're more or less correct that it's a calculated move. I think he wants to get on tv and quoted as much as humanly possible, and like i said his rhetoric was through the roof the first time this early in the game and then it settled down as he progressed. I think he's somewhat ham fistedly trying to recreate that. Never know with him tho. Could just be nuts. I think his days of trying to say he won when he didn't are probably behind him - and if he wins that's the end of it no matter what. Which honestly would be a good thing, the country can genuinely move on after this. We'll see - to be honest all this is just the preliminaries before the actual main show as far as i'm concerned. Come July he's the official candidate and if they havent' managed to put him in jail by then that's when it'll get interesting and the fight will really be on. Quote "That which doesn't kill me...
