I watched this interview:

Two points struck me:

1. He respects the law.

2. He believes America is exceptional.

=====

On both points, he is lying.

1. Homosexuals have the right to be.

2. We must live in a multi-polar world.

Johnson is the surrender of the GOP to the MAGA CULT. AKA, Gym Jordan in a suit with fake polished shoes.

IF I wanted AJ, I would buy them. But they're not worth the price. Esp when my Kyrie Irvings are still in great condition. ;)

Eh, he's a polished, well-spoken politician who quietly holds extremist views. Which is worrisome. I'd prefer a bombastic fool like Trump or MTG represent those positions than someone clever enough to make specious arguments that better sell bad policy to the casual voters.

In point one, what does respect for the law have to do with queers?

As far as having the right to be, what gives queers more right to be than babies? Since you left wing goose steppers keep tripping over this idea of being allowed to live, maybe you should consult the United States Constitution, as well as the  Bill Of Rights, to figure out where this country stands on the issue.

2. We DON'T have to live in a fugging mult polar world. We live in an EXCEPTIONAL UNITED FUGGING STATES OF AMERICA, the greatest nation of all time, a place you Nazis are free to LEAVE any time you want. There are only a few MILLION people from unexceptional socialist shitt holes who would take your place in an instant.

We live in a world that would go completely to shit if if weren't for us.

1. Johnson said that he "respects the law". (Yet he clearly disagrees with homosexual behaviour.)

2. Johnson believes that America is exceptional - protected by God. (Yet we now live in a multi-polar world.)

Johnson is no Tip O'Neill. He's not even a Newt Gingrich. At best, this Johnson is a Gerald Ford.

===

As a Canadian, travelling abroad, I've always liked quoting Gerald Ford's first speech: "I'm a Ford - not a Lincoln."

You current Americans are obsessed with "appeasement".

You ignore how a civilised world collapsed in 1914.

Previous presidents -guys (JFK, NIixon)) who fought in the 1940s- worried more about the former.

====

The war did not start in 1939 (Canada, Poland) or 1941 (US, Russia).

It started in 1914. And lasted to 1945.

Like the Thirty Years War.

Earth to MOR0N. Disagreement with a law is NOT illegal. Most of the world disagrees with queer behavior. And the Muslims your two idi0t presidents (Obama, Biden) worship throw queers off the roofs of tall buildings. So far, disagreeing with being a queer hurt nobody.

He hasn't been in office for even a fugging MONTH, you idi0t. Tip O'Neill is tied with Nazi Pelosi in the WORST HOUSE SPEAKER OF ALL TIME category.

Give Johnson time. He just might rein in the DemoNazis and balance the budget like Newt did.

This is ridiculous. Johnson respects the law and would like to have it enforced. That has nothing to do with how he personally feels about gay folks.

American exceptionalism is...a dangerous position to take. It has leads to all sorts of global problems. Is the USA "exceptional"? Meh...its powerful at the moment. But "exceptional"? If the USA were truly exceptional, would there be so much poverty in it? Would the middle-class and lower be shat upon with a regularity that's startling?

If the USA wants to really be "exceptional" they might try demanding their governing bodies be more concerned with "We the people" and less concerned with "some" of the people and those in other nations. That doen't mean they have to become "isolationists" by any means. But it does mean they should act in the best interests of AMERICANS...instead of Ukrainians or Jews or Palestinians or people of any other nation. And if all nations acted in this manner...the world would be much safer and much more prosperous.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.
